A student team from King Khalid University achieved a distinguished success by securing third place in the International Micromaker Hackathon, held during the 5th Conference of the Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy (SSCP25), which attracted more than 500 participating teams. The team—composed of Rinad Al-Qahtani, Raneem Al-Nujaymi, Sadeem Al-Mufreh, and Ziyad Al-Ahmari—was recognized for its innovative project “PharmaLink,” the first comprehensive Saudi platform designed to empower pharmacists and pharmacy students by integrating education, professional development, and employment into a unified system that aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 in building national healthcare competencies.

The program included interactive activities, a detailed presentation on the disease’s concept, causes, symptoms, and risk factors, as well as the role of physical activity and healthy nutrition in prevention, complemented by an educational animated film and awareness cards, providing a comprehensive and engaging knowledge-sharing experience.
