The sixteenth season of the Female Students’ Futsal Championship qualifiers concluded at Al-Far‘a Sports Hall, organized by King Khalid University through the Deanship of Student Affairs in collaboration with the Saudi University Sports Federation, with participation from six universities and around 100 students. The championship featured intense competitions along with accompanying events including chess and e-sports tournaments, an exhibition volleyball match, and recreational workshops, creating a comprehensive educational and entertaining atmosphere. Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, emphasized that the events foster fair competition among students, while Dr. Arij Al-Buheir, Vice Dean for Female Student Affairs, praised the professional level of the championship and the qualification of Princess Nourah and King Khalid Universities to the final rounds.

King Khalid University Students Win Three Medals on First Day of Saudi Universities Taekwondo Championship

On the first day of the competition, King Khalid University students, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, won three medals in the Saudi University Sports Federation Taekwondo Championship held at the University of Tabuk and organized by the Saudi University Sports Federation. The university team results were as follows: Mohamed Ali Al-Madawi won first place and the gold medal in the 74 kg category, Hatem Mohamed Al-Abdulrahman secured second place and the silver medal in the 80 kg category, and Yahya Mohamed Al-Asiri claimed third place and the bronze medal in the 54 kg category. These achievements reflect the continuous support provided by the Deanship of Student Affairs to the university teams and its ongoing encouragement for students to participate in various university sports competitions.

Introductory Workshops Develop Hobbies and Skills as Part of “Hawi” Program at King Khalid University

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Agency for Female Student Affairs and in collaboration with the “Hawi” Quality of Life Program and the Asir Development Authority, organized a series of introductory workshops under the “Hawi” program, covering three main hobbies: paddle sports led by Ms. Noha Al-Shahrani, handicrafts led by Ms. Mana’a Al-Der’ani, and cooking led by Ms. Amal Al-Ammar. The workshops witnessed active participation of around 70 students, reflecting King Khalid University’s efforts to empower female students and develop their skills and diverse hobbies.
