Workshop to Develop Critical Thinking Skills for King Khalid University Female Students
The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Academic Guidance Unit at the Student Care and Counseling Center, organized a workshop titled “Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Academic Problem-Solving” at the College of Tourism and Hospitality, presented by social specialist Rehama Asiri. The workshop covered the concept and importance of critical thinking, its strategies, and its relationship to problem-solving, highlighting key critical thinking tools for students. The program aims to enhance students’ analytical and creative abilities and prepare an academic generation capable of facing challenges confidently and efficiently.

King Khalid University Female Chess Team Participates in Saudi Universities Championship
King Khalid University, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, is participating in the Female Chess Championship organized by the Saudi University Sports Federation in its 16th season, held at the University of Jeddah from September 24 to 27, 2025. The participation aims to promote competitive sports among female university students and enhance their strategic skills in chess.

King Khalid University President Attends 95th Saudi National Day Celebration with Participation of 25 Student Clubs
King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Salmi, attended the university’s 95th Saudi National Day celebration, which featured a variety of programs and activities including a panel discussion, a historical exhibition, student club exhibitions with participation from 25 clubs, and a special operetta, celebrating national identity and highlighting the university’s diverse student activities.

Awareness Lecture on University Behavioral Discipline Regulations for King Khalid University Students
The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center and in collaboration with the College of Humanities, organized an awareness lecture targeting students of King Khalid University. The session highlighted the center’s key services and reviewed the University Behavioral Discipline Regulations. The lecture was presented by Mr. Saeed Dhuayfer Al-Fard with the participation of nursing technician Aayed Saeed Al-Shahrani, aiming to enhance students’ behavioral awareness and provide guidance and health support, contributing to a safe and motivating university environment.
