The Applied College Club in Rijal Almaa organized an event to celebrate World Tolerance Day on Monday, November 18, 2024 (16 Rabi’ Al-Akhar 1446 AH). World Tolerance Day highlights the importance of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among individuals and communities. The event emphasized Saudi Arabia’s role as a leading example in promoting a culture of peace and dialogue among diverse cultures. It also underscored tolerance as a core principle of Islam, advocating mercy, justice, and equality, and its contribution to social and political stability locally and globally.

The Applied College Club in Abha, in collaboration with the Female Section of the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a World Tolerance Day program on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Applied College courtyards. The event aimed to educate students about the concept of tolerance, its significance, and its vital role in building societies, in celebration of World Tolerance Day.

The Applied College Club in Sarat Abidah held a program titled “Information Security” on Monday, November 18th, attended by the College’s CEO, Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Sahli, faculty, and students. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Shehi presented the session, focusing on protecting online information and advancing secure methods for data storage and transfer. The program concluded with Dr. Al-Shehi being honored by Dr. Al-Sahli in appreciation of his efforts.

The College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Section), organized a workshop titled “English and Soft Skills Learning” on Monday, November 18, 2024, as part of the “Secrets of Language” program. The workshop was presented by Dr. Ayesha Saghir Khan at the college theater. The session covered various skills, particularly communication in English, enabling students to express their ideas clearly, build relationships, engage in different scenarios, and enhance their confidence.

The Media Club, in collaboration with the Student Activities Agency, hosted the cinematic event “Mutasa’ 2” on Monday evening, 16 Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH, at Muvi Cinema. Building on the success of the first edition, the event aimed to enrich students’ cinematic experiences and develop their critical thinking skills. It aligns with the university’s efforts to promote Saudi cinema culture and encourage students to analyze and evaluate films objectively.

The College of Arts and Humanities Club organized the “KKU Media Star” competition on Monday, November 18, 2024. The event featured an exciting competition in the spokesperson category, with participation from students across various disciplines. This competition serves as a unique platform for enhancing communication and expression skills while providing students with an opportunity to showcase their talents in the media field. Contestants impressed the audience with innovative ideas and inspiring content, reflecting a spirit of creativity and challenge.

The Applied College Club in Tanuma, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, held an event titled “Mastering Job Interview Skills” on Monday, November 18th. Led by Dr. Jabara Farah, the session emphasized the importance of body language, confidence, and effective communication in achieving interview success.

The College of Engineering Club (Female Section), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Computer Science Club, organized an event titled “Smart Fencing System” on Monday, November 18, 2024. The event aimed to highlight the latest smart security systems that provide innovative protection against risks through advanced technologies, raising students’ awareness of the importance of smart security systems for the future.
