The College of Culture and Arts Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a program titled “Artificial Intelligence in Fashion Design” on Wednesday, 4/5/1446 H, at the college theater. The program, held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., included a presentation by Dr. Samar Qannounah on AI applications in fashion design using tools like Midjourney and AiDA. Additionally, it featured a research presentation on creating designs inspired by traditional Asir motifs, concluding with an open discussion on AI’s future and a thank-you to attendees.

The College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for the female section, organized the “Religious Translation and Strengthening Our Faith” program on Wednesday, 06-11-2024, at Gate 9 in the female campus in Greiger. Approximately 150 students from the College of Languages and Translation and nearby colleges, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Business, and Law, attended. The program included accurate translations of content from the Sunnah, creed, and prophetic traditions, with quality reviews by a judging panel and presentations for broader benefit.

Dr. Iman Farouq and Dr. Rehan Munir from the College of Medicine at King Khalid University presented information on the causes, symptoms, types, and prevention of diabetes. The event featured educational videos on diabetes management, a distribution booth, and responses to students’ inquiries, along with optional blood sugar testing.
