The College of Arts and Humanities Club held a workshop titled “The First Steps Towards the Future” on Monday, 2 Jumada I, 1446 AH, in the Leadership Hall, presented by Ms. Rawaan Al-Qahtani from King Khalid University. The event featured a presentation on initial steps towards the future in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aimed at enhancing awareness and developing skills among female students in an educational and interactive setting.

The Engineering Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the Engineering Competitions from October 21, 2024, to November 4, 2024, lasting for two weeks at the College of Engineering. The event began with the participation of all students, and the locations for the competition questions were assigned. The questions encompassed all specializations within the college to educate and raise awareness among students. Winners were honored in a special ceremony on Monday, November 4, 2024.

The Media Club, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Deanship, organized the “Makamen” event. On Monday, 2/5/1446 AH. This cultural and intellectual gathering aimed to enhance students’ critical thinking skills and promote constructive dialogue on topics of interest, fostering intellectual growth and awareness. The event saw wide participation from students and interested attendees, reflecting a growing interest in cultural and intellectual dialogue within the university.

In collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Student Activities Club in Tanumah organized a training course titled “Basics of Artificial Intelligence” on 2/5/1446 AH. The course was presented by Dr. Mudathir Khan and attended by the CEO of the college, Dr. Abdullah Hasan Al-Shahri. The course witnessed wide participation from students, who raised numerous questions and expressed their appreciation for the importance of such courses and the significant benefits they gained from it.

The Applied Medical Sciences Club in Khamis Mushait held an awareness program, “Smart Diabetes Management,” at the Primary Health Care Center on 2/5/1446 AH. The event aimed to raise awareness about diabetes and included presentations by public health students on its types, risk factors, and the importance of nutrition. It concluded with practical tips on monitoring blood sugar levels and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

On November 3, the Pharmacy College Club at King Khalid University organized an enriching visit to the Central Library to increase top students’ awareness of available research resources. The visit included a warm welcome by the library team, an orientation tour of library services, and interactive workshops on using digital databases, encouraging students to make the most of the resources to enhance their research skills.
