The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Al-Samaa Sessions on Umdat al-Ahkam” program on Sunday, November 16, 2025, attended by approximately 50 students. The program featured Dr. Yahya bin Hussein Al-Harbi, a faculty member in the Department of Fiqh and Its Fundamentals, and aimed to grant students certification in classical Islamic texts, providing direct scholarly engagement with the text of Al-Hafiz Al-Maqdisi’s Umdat al-Ahkam and its author, thereby enhancing students’ academic level and enriching their study experience in Fiqh and its principles.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences Club in Khamis Mushait (male section), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an awareness event titled Global Anesthesia Day (Myths & Facts) on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Lavanda Park, attended by students and visitors from various disciplines. The event aimed to raise awareness about anesthesia, correct common misconceptions, and highlight the crucial role of medical staff in ensuring patient safety during medical and surgical procedures. It featured interactive awareness stations demonstrating anesthesia mechanisms and types, giving participants a close insight into the scientific and practical aspects of this vital specialty. The event witnessed high engagement from attendees who appreciated the content and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting health literacy and public awareness.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, through the Vice Deanship for Female Student Affairs and under the supervision of the Saudi Federation for University Sports, organized the “Exchange Sports Event” on Wednesday, 16/4/1447 AH, at the sports hall in Al-Faraa.

This event comes as part of the federation’s exchange activities, where volleyball matches were held between female students from King Khalid University and Taif University, with a total of 28 players participating.

The event was marked by enthusiasm and strong support from the audience, and it concluded with the distribution of commemorative gifts to the participating students.

The King Khalid University women’s basketball team, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs and represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Student Affairs, participated in a sports basketball match held in the city of Taif and hosted by Taif University on 23/4/1447 AH.

The match concluded with a victory for Taif University’s team, with a score of 22–15, and 10 female students from King Khalid University took part in the event.
