The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center (Academic Advising Unit), organized on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, a training course titled “GPA Improvement Strategies,” presented by Dr. Ali Abdullah Marzouq, as part of the Deanship’s efforts to support students in enhancing their academic performance. The course focused on equipping students with effective skills and strategies for time management, organized study, and proper academic planning, along with understanding GPA calculation mechanisms and the best methods to improve it, thereby fostering academic excellence and achievement.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center (Academic Advising Unit), organized on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, the “Your Academic Compass” workshop, as part of its efforts to enhance students’ academic awareness and enable effective academic planning. The workshop focused on familiarizing students with academic regulations, developing skills for making informed academic decisions, and promoting optimal utilization of available academic advising services, thereby supporting students in achieving their educational goals efficiently.

The Computer Science College Club – Female Students Section, in partnership with the Nursing College Club and in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, hosted the Design Thinking Camp for Digital Health Innovations in its second edition from February 9 to 11, 2026. The camp aimed to empower students to apply design thinking methodology in developing innovative digital health solutions for community needs. It included presentations and workshops on digital health challenges, prototype development, and smart technology application. Five teams competed, with Athar winning first place, Nabd second, and IRBIT third, providing a rich experience that enhanced teamwork, creative thinking, and practical application of academic concepts.

The Faculty of Education Club – Female Students Section at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, hosted the Mid-way | Against the Ordinary camp over two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 10–11, 2026. The camp aimed to redefine the concepts of mistakes and failure from a psychological and educational perspective through an interactive and applied approach, enhancing self-awareness and developing students’ skills to handle challenges within the university environment.

The Applied College Club in Abha, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, hosted the “World Consumer Rights Day” program on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, under the theme Safe Products, Confident Consumers. This year’s focus, “A Just Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles,” emphasizes the importance of providing everyone with access to healthy and sustainable lifestyle choices at affordable prices.

The Applied College Club in Dhahran Al-Janoub, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, hosted the “Today’s Student, Tomorrow’s Leader” event on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The program aims to empower students and develop their leadership skills, featuring leadership exhibitions, motivational activities, competitions, and awards, in an inspiring atmosphere reflecting ambition and leadership spirit.

The Engineering College Club – Female Section – at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Student Entities Exhibition” on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The event aimed to introduce the engineering entities and showcase the club’s programs and achievements, with participation from various engineering associations and attendance of several students, in an interactive environment encouraging engagement and networking.

The Pharmacy College Club at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the “Diwan Al-Pharmacists” event on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The cultural gathering brought students together in an interactive academic environment, featuring a diverse knowledge competition aimed at enhancing general knowledge and fostering positive competition, while reinforcing dialogue and teamwork. The event is part of the club’s ongoing efforts to enrich the student experience through quality programs that combine learning with enjoyment and contribute to skill development and knowledge enhancement.

The Central Sustainability Club at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the “Swap Market” program on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, for two hours. The initiative aimed to promote conscious consumption and encourage the reuse of items instead of discarding them. The event fostered an interactive and collaborative atmosphere, allowing participants to exchange books and various items, including watches, sunglasses, cups, scarves, art pieces, medals, bags, accessories, and stationery. The program effectively reinforced sustainability principles, social responsibility, and environmental awareness within the university community.

The Applied Medical Sciences College Club in Khamis Mushait at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an awareness event on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Lavanda Park under the title “Wa Man Ahyaha.” The event aimed to raise community awareness of basic first aid and highlight the importance of rapid response in emergencies, focusing on CPR and bleeding control skills. Practical stations allowed visitors to practice CPR and learn proper emergency response techniques, reflecting the club’s commitment to promoting health awareness and social responsibility among students.
