The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center at the Applied College – Male Campus in Muhayil Asir, organized a meeting for academically struggling students on Monday, 17 November 2025, titled “Group Guidance for Academically Struggling Students”. The session was presented by Social Specialist Mr. Saeed Dhweifer Al-Fard, aiming to support students academically, provide psychological and social guidance, and help them develop effective strategies to improve their academic performance and overcome learning difficulties.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center at the Applied College in Muhayil Asir – Male Campus, organized a workshop titled “Mental Health Aspects and Their Impact on Quality of Life” on Sunday and Monday, 16-17 November 2025. The workshop was presented by Senior Psychologist Mr. Qabeel Jaday Al-Yazidi, aiming to raise students’ psychological awareness by explaining the concept of mental health, introducing the psychological services offered by King Khalid University, and highlighting major mental health disorders and ways to observe and manage them.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center at the College of Computer Science – Male Campus, organized an event titled “Algebra Cafe” on Tuesday and Wednesday, 17-18 November 2025. The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of fundamental algebra concepts in an interactive and enjoyable way, providing a collaborative learning environment that encourages idea exchange and problem-solving, contributing to higher academic performance and improved analytical skills.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait – Male Campus, organized a workshop titled “AI Applications and their Role in KSA Vision 2030” on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. The workshop was prepared and presented by Mr. Shaheed Hussein Sardar, under the supervision of the Head of the Unit and organizer Dr. Ali Hashem. It aimed to explain AI applications, highlight their critical role in supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and raise students’ awareness of the importance of modern technologies in developing future sectors.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Male Campus at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait, organized a workshop titled “The Importance of English in AI Applications”, prepared and presented by Professor Dr. Mohamed Galal El-Din from the English Department, under the supervision and organization of Dr. Ali Hashem, Head of the Unit. The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of English and its pivotal role in understanding and applying artificial intelligence technologies, while enhancing their language skills to support their academic and technical competencies in this rapidly evolving field.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Female Campus, at the Applied College in Dhahran Al-Janoub, organized a program titled “Effective Communication Skills” on Monday, 17 November 2025. The program aimed to equip students with the fundamental skills for clear and effective communication, enhance their ability to express ideas confidently, practice active listening, and build positive relationships within and beyond the university environment, contributing to the development of their personal and professional skills.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Female Campus, at the Applied College in Rijal Alma’, organized two academic programs on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, titled “Steps to Build a Successful Personal Study Plan” and “The Impact of Daily Habits on Academic Performance”. Delivered by social specialist Rahma Asiri, the programs aimed to empower students to develop effective study planning skills and raise awareness of the importance of positive daily habits in enhancing academic achievement and improving overall university performance.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Female Campus, at the College of Humanities, organized an awards ceremony on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, honoring the outstanding students for the academic year 1446 AH. The event celebrated their achievements, promoted a spirit of excellence and creativity, encouraged other students to strive for academic success, and supported a positive learning environment that values efforts and fosters continued dedication and accomplishment.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Female Campus, at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha, organized a lecture titled “Laboratory Safety Rules” on Monday, 17 November 2025. The lecture aimed to educate students on the fundamentals of laboratory safety, introduce proper preventive procedures, demonstrate safe handling of laboratory tools and materials, and minimize potential risks while raising awareness of first aid practices within the laboratory environment.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Female Campus, at the College of Nursing in Abha, organized a program titled “From Despair to Hope – No to Depression, No to Suicide” on Monday, 17 November 2025. The program aimed to raise awareness about mental health, promote a culture of seeking help and support, educate students on the signs of depression and how to address it, and reduce risky behaviors by providing practical guidance that fosters hope and psychological resilience.
