The College of Science Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Sports Activities Department, organized an Open Sports Day on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the College of Science Sports Hall. The event featured various sports competitions, with a large number of students participating. The day concluded with an award ceremony, where winners were honored, including: Abdulaziz Abdullah, Abdullah Murayeh, Samer Ali, Ibrahim Shami, Mohammed Faisal, Mishari Fahd, and Abdullah Hussein.

The Applied College Club in Tanomah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an event on Monday, February 17, 2025, titled “How to Landing Your Dream Opportunity – Ignite Your Passion”, presented by Dr. Mohamed Al-Sawy and Ms. Mahmooda Kowthar. The session highlighted the importance of strategic planning for success, with attendees actively engaging in discussions and inquiries.

The College of Pharmacy Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and in partnership with Bioderma, organized the “Care and Protection” event on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Lavenda Park Mall, aimed at raising awareness about skincare and preventing skin diseases. The event featured presentations on skin diseases, their causes, symptoms, and prevention methods, along with a skincare test corner where attendees could discover their skin type and receive samples of appropriate skincare products. The event also saw the participation of dermatology specialists who provided medical advice and practical guidance to the attendees.

The College of Engineering Club for Female Students, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a field visit to Jazeera Paints Factory on Thursday, February 13, 2025. The visit included a tour of the factory’s departments, where students learned about the stages of paint production, modern technologies used, and quality and safety standards. The company’s research efforts were also highlighted. The visit concluded with a discussion session on challenges and opportunities in the industrial job market.

The College of Languages and Translation Club organized a maritime trip to Jazan from February 8 to 10, 2025, which included a boat tour and a visit to the Jazan Book Fair. The club’s president, Osama Al-Qahtani, participated in a panel discussion on translation and artificial intelligence, highlighting the impact of modern technologies on translation and their role in advancing the field, offering attendees valuable insights into contemporary translation trends.

The Central Media Club, in partnership with the College of Arts and Humanities Club and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the third edition of the “Media Empowerment Camp” from February 9 to 13, 2025. The camp aimed to equip students with media skills and prepare them for the job market through five specialized training courses and workshops.With over 500 participants, the camp concluded in the presence of the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities and a representative from the Deanship of Student Affairs. The event culminated in an awards ceremony honoring the winning teams in the competitions organized throughout the camp.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences Club in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Football” Tournament on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, with the participation of six teams from various college disciplines. The tournament took place at the Applied College Stadium in Khamis Mushait. The event witnessed intense competition and remarkable sportsmanship, showcasing new talents among students. At the closing ceremony, the winning team was awarded gold medals and the championship trophy, while the runner-up team received silver medals, in a special recognition event held at the club’s premises.

The Central Scholarships Club for Female Students organized the “Virtual International Journey” program at Abha Airport, offering a digital travel experience using virtual reality and artificial intelligence. The program aimed to simulate international travel experiences, raise awareness of airport procedures, and allow participants to explore global cities. The airport featured modern design and advanced facilities, with plans to develop infrastructure using robots and smart gates.Organizers recommended expanding the program to include additional destinations and enhancing the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

The Central Arts Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Open-Air Painting” event at the Female Section in the green yard next to the logo. The event witnessed a large attendance of students and visitors. A group of talented female artists participated in the event, creating live paintings in front of the audience using tools specially provided by the club for the event. The event also featured unique interactions and discussions about painting techniques and styles.

The Central Arts Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized a cinematic event at Empire Cinema - Al-Rashed Mall. The Saudi film “Hobal” was screened, with the presence of several guests from the administration, deanship, and club members, who were welcomed by the club’s members with flowers, coffee, and dates. The event showcased the creativity of Saudi cinematography, followed by a lecture presented by influencers specializing in cinematography, where they discussed filming techniques and lighting used in films.
