The College of Nursing in Muhayil Asir, Male Section, organized the event titled “Hypertension Awareness,” which is an important step in promoting public health by raising awareness about the disease and the necessity of preventing it through adopting healthy habits. Dr. Abdul Monem Batiha, Head of the Department of Basic Nursing Care, delivered an informative lecture on hypertension, covering its definition, types, causes, prevention methods, and ways to live with it. He also emphasized the importance of regular blood pressure measurements, a healthy diet, and regular exercise to maintain blood pressure at normal levels. At the end of the session, Dr. Batiha answered the attendees’ questions, and refreshments were provided to the attendees and participants.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait, Male Section, organized the “AI Smile” event on Sunday, Sha’ban 10, 1446H, corresponding to February 9, 2025, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities and the Department of Auxiliary Dental Sciences. The event, held at 9:00 AM at the Auxiliary Dental Sciences Department in the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait, focused on using artificial intelligence to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of dental issues and to develop the skills of dental technology students through practical workshops.

The College of Nursing in Mahayel, Female Section, organized an awareness event on Sunday, February 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the college theater, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students and in partnership with the Department of Psychiatric Nursing and Community Health Nursing. The event included a presentation on the importance of vaccinations and antiviral vaccines, along with the distribution of informative posters and pamphlets. The event emphasized the critical role of vaccinations in preventing seasonal diseases and reducing their spread, and the need to raise awareness, especially among high-risk groups, to ensure the health of both individuals and communities.

The College of Applied Sciences in Tanomah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, hosted a program titled “Time Management” on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The session was presented by Dr. Sabahi Abdulqader Al-Imam, who discussed the importance of time management and its role in organizing both individual and societal life. Dr. Sadiq Hussein Fadlallah, Associate Professor at the Unit of Basic and Health Specialties, also attended and presented awards to the participants.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, hosted an event on World Cancer Day at Lavenda Park Mall on Tuesday, February 6, 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness about all types of cancer. It was held in partnership with the female students’ division, other colleges at the university, Saeed Association, the Saudi Red Crescent Society, and several regional hospitals. A large number of students participated and benefited from the various awareness and health services provided during the event.

The Applied College Club of Sarat Abidah, in collaboration with Baladi Poultry Company, held the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” program on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The program aimed to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship among students, introduce management practices in the workplace, and showcase digital developments in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The participants were welcomed by the CEO, Mr. Turki Abdullah bin Hishbal, who presented an overview of the company and its latest production and sales technologies.

The Applied College Club in Mahayel, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities and Mahayel Sports Club, organized the quarter-final football matches as part of the “Comprehensive Sports Olympiad”. The matches were held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, with remarkable attendance and enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, creating an energetic and competitive atmosphere.

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Values” program on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. The program was presented in an engaging and impressive manner, which was well-received by the attendees. The session took place from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the club’s venue in the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion (A/12/1). The event targeted all female students and aimed to increase the reverence and honor for Allah’s rites.

The College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Introduction to the French Language” workshop aimed at enhancing students’ skills in learning foreign languages. The workshop, which took place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in the college’s theater, provided an overview of the basics of the French language and culture. The workshop was attended by 40 students from various academic levels and offered them an interactive and enjoyable learning experience. The Central Scholarship Club for Female Students, under the sponsorship of the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the program “Building a Positive Mindset” on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Conference Center, Theater No. 3. The program focused on promoting positive culture for scholarship students by connecting them with impactful graduates from King Khalid University’s scholarship programs, who have had a positive impact on various university activities. It aimed to inspire students to adopt a mindset that enhances their academic and professional success, while broadening their horizons through the stories of talented and outstanding individuals from different races and countries.
