The College of Computer Science Club (Female Section), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “My Programming Skills Competition” over two consecutive days, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 4–5, 2025, with the aim of fostering technical creativity and enhancing students’ programming skills. The event began with a numerical systems conversion challenge (ASCII, HEXA, DECIMAL, BINARY) that tested participants’ speed and accuracy in applying core programming concepts, creating an engaging and competitive environment that reflected their enthusiasm for technology and coding.

The Applied College Club in Sarat Abidah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Creative Touch” exhibition on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the college’s indoor courtyard. The event aimed to highlight students’ creativity and encourage them to showcase their distinctive projects and handmade works, reflecting a strong spirit of innovation, initiative, and artistic expression among the students, while promoting a culture of creativity and productivity within the university community.

The Applied College Club in Al-Majardah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Best Digital Content” event on Monday, November 3, 2025, aiming to showcase students’ creativity in producing and designing digital content while enhancing their skills in visual and interactive media. The event featured 34 digital works, including images, videos, and interactive presentations, creating an inspiring atmosphere of creativity and positive competition that reflected the students’ growing expertise in digital innovation.

The Architecture and Planning Club organized a field visit to a construction site on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, accompanied by Dr. Ali Marzan. The visit came as part of the club’s efforts to enhance students’ practical skills and connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. It aimed to familiarize participants with the working environment of construction projects, observe implementation stages firsthand, and understand the connection between architectural drawings and their execution on site, thereby enriching their technical insight and professional awareness.

The Applied College Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a program titled “Law and the Making of the Future” on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The event opened with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a professional training session that explored the art of drafting legal contracts, from understanding their structure and essential elements to identifying common errors and best drafting practices. The program concluded with a mock trial of a contractual dispute, providing participants with hands-on experience in legal reasoning, argumentation, and contract interpretation.

The Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, under the Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded the Hockey Championship featuring broad participation from female students across various colleges at King Khalid University. At the conclusion of the championship, the top three winners were honored, with Shahad Al-Qarni receiving the gold medal, Ghadi Al-Shahri taking silver, and Yara Asiri earning bronze, in a celebratory atmosphere reflecting the students’ enthusiasm and the spirit of university sports competition.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center (Academic Guidance Unit), offered a series of academic programs titled “The Difference Between Internal and External Motivation and Its Impact on Academic Excellence” and “The Impact of Daily Habits on Academic Performance.” The programs targeted several university colleges, including the College of Dentistry at Al-Far‘a, the Academic Complex in Al-Mahala, and the Academic Complex on King Abdullah Road. These initiatives focused on raising students’ awareness of the importance of internal and external motivation and the effect of daily habits on academic performance, as well as developing their ability to face academic challenges and adapt to university life requirements, contributing to improved academic achievement and psychological-academic balance.

As part of the breast cancer awareness and early detection campaign in October, the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, represented by the Cultural and Social Activities Department, organized awareness visits to several schools in Abha with the participation of a group of female students from the College of Pharmacy at King Khalid University. The visits included Al-Menh Elementary and Intermediate Complex and the 14th Intermediate School in Abha, where the students delivered educational programs aimed at raising health awareness and encouraging early screening to prevent the disease, contributing to the promotion of preventive health culture within the school community.

As part of the 2025 World Mental Health Day programs, under the theme “Access to Mental Health Services in Crises and Disasters,” the Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University released an educational video presented by university students, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of psychological support during crises and encourage attention to mental health. This video reflects the deanship’s efforts to promote mental health culture among students and deliver awareness messages in a creative and engaging manner.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Students Affairs, organized a workshop titled “Aquatic Therapeutic Exercises for Cancer Patients”, presented by Ms. Ibtisam Al-Qahtani, targeting female students at King Khalid University. The workshop focused on promoting physical and psychological recovery for breast cancer patients and raising awareness about the importance of therapeutic exercises in improving quality of life, providing a practical and engaging educational experience that highlights the role of physical therapy in overall health.
