King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Tourism and Hospitality, implemented a lecture entitled “Leadership in Tourism and Hospitality,” presented by Mr. Salem Al-Shahrani, Advisor to the Shura Council and Supervisor of the Makkah Hotels Group, holding a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management. The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the importance of leadership in developing the tourism and hospitality sector, develop their leadership skills, and connect academic learning with practical professional experience. The session included a scientific and practical discussion of leadership concepts, explored the skills of a successful leader, featured an interactive dialogue enriching students with practical experiences and valuable professional advice, and concluded with attendees expressing appreciation for the lecturer and his contribution to knowledge enrichment.
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Architecture and Planning, implemented an awareness seminar on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, entitled “Your Mental Health Comes First,” presented by Dr. Mujeeb Al-Rahman Abu Amer and Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Odeh, in the presence of Dr. Saleh Humaid Al-Salmi. The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of mental health in the academic environment and equip them with skills to manage academic pressures, achieve psychological balance, and succeed academically. The seminar witnessed active participation from attendees and concluded with an open discussion that allowed the exchange of experiences and answers to students’ inquiries.
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Academic Guidance Unit at the College of Engineering, implemented a program entitled “Launch of the ‘Irshadni’ Initiative” to empower students to serve as mentors for their peers by providing support and encouragement. The program aims to develop their skills and capabilities, enhance the quality of university life, and offer continuous guidance and support to students.
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Student Care and Counseling Center at the Applied College in Tanomah, implemented a training course entitled “Training and Development in Human Resource Management,” presented by Dr. Jabara Farah, with the participation of students and faculty members. The course aimed to introduce students to the concept of training and development in the workplace, its importance in skill enhancement and professional performance improvement, and its role in achieving career excellence and preparing qualified workforce for the labor market, positively raising students’ awareness of this vital aspect for their future careers.
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Academic Guidance and Student Affairs Committee at the College of Pharmacy, implemented an awareness publication on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, aimed at students of the college. The publication focused on promoting effective use of the university email (Outlook) and its role in receiving official messages and notifications from the college and university, ensuring continuous and effective academic communication.
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Student Care and Counseling Center at the College of Arts and Humanities, implemented a training course on Sunday, 27/4/1447 AH, entitled “Secrets of Success for University Students in Personal and Academic Life,” presented by Mr. Saeed Zarifer Al-Fard. The course focused on enhancing students’ personal and academic planning skills, providing practical guidance for university success, and included a discussion session where students’ questions were addressed clearly and effectively. An advisory form was also distributed. This course represents an important step in fostering student engagement and proper guidance, contributing to a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Student Care and Counseling Center at the Applied College in Mahayel Asir, implemented a training course on Wednesday entitled “Preparing New Students for Midterm Exams.” The course aimed to enhance the psychological and academic readiness of new students to take exams with confidence and competence, develop their study and time management skills, and manage exam-related stress positively. The course was presented by Dr. Dhaif Allah Ghram Allah Al-Zahrani, Director of the Administrative and Human Specializations Unit, supervised by Dr. Al-Sayyid Muhammad Adam Shaqaf, and documented by Dr. Ihab Al-Nazili.
