The Central Scouting Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs participated in the annual global scouting event “JOTA-JOTI 2025”, held from October 17–19, 2025, under the theme “A World Shaped by Youth.” The event, known as the Jamboree on the Air and the Jamboree on the Internet, is the world’s largest digital scouting gathering, connecting scouts and leaders from over 170 countries through radio and internet networks to exchange experiences, develop life skills, and promote cultural understanding and cooperation. The club’s participation reflects its commitment to the goals of the global scouting movement in fostering communication, exploration, and community service, while also introducing the world to the Kingdom’s culture and its humanitarian initiatives, notably the “Messengers of Peace” initiative supported by the Government of Saudi Arabia, which embodies the Kingdom’s message of peace, tolerance, and global goodwill.

The event was part of the Basic Surgical Skills program, designed to train students in fundamental surgical suturing and sterilization techniques. The program included hands-on training sessions supervised by faculty members, using real surgical instruments, in an interactive and competitive environment that enhanced students’ practical experience and surgical skills development.
