The Media Club at King Khalid University, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized a symposium titled “Tourism Media: Between Reality and Aspiration” on Monday, November 3, 2025. The session explored the pivotal role of media in showcasing the Kingdom’s tourism identity and transforming its natural and cultural richness into compelling narratives that highlight Saudi Arabia’s global image. Targeting students from the Department of Media and Communication, the symposium aimed to uncover emerging opportunities in tourism media and related investment areas. The event witnessed active participation and insightful discussions from attendees, enriching the dialogue with innovative perspectives on advancing the tourism media sector.

The Central Scouting Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs participated in the annual global scouting event “JOTA-JOTI 2025”, held from October 17–19, 2025, under the theme “A World Shaped by Youth.” The event, known as the Jamboree on the Air and the Jamboree on the Internet, is the world’s largest digital scouting gathering, connecting scouts and leaders from over 170 countries through radio and internet networks to exchange experiences, develop life skills, and promote cultural understanding and cooperation. The club’s participation reflects its commitment to the goals of the global scouting movement in fostering communication, exploration, and community service, while also introducing the world to the Kingdom’s culture and its humanitarian initiatives, notably the “Messengers of Peace” initiative supported by the Government of Saudi Arabia, which embodies the Kingdom’s message of peace, tolerance, and global goodwill.

The Applied Medical Sciences College Club in Khamis Mushait (Male Section), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Nursing College Student Club in Khamis Mushait, organized a recreational event titled “Paintball Challenge” on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Samaa Park Amusement Center, with students from both colleges participating. The event aimed to foster teamwork and collaboration through dynamic, competitive rounds that combined excitement and physical engagement. It concluded with enthusiastic participation and positive interaction, as students expressed their joy in an engaging experience that strengthened connections and reinforced a vibrant sense of community.

The Medical Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the “Scalpel Journey” event on October 28–29, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., after being postponed from its original date, October 8–9. The event was part of the Basic Surgical Skills program, designed to train students in fundamental surgical suturing and sterilization techniques. The program included hands-on training sessions supervised by faculty members, using real surgical instruments, in an interactive and competitive environment that enhanced students’ practical experience and surgical skills development.

The Applied College Club in Rijal Almaa, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Best Creative Video” competition on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The event aimed to encourage students to produce innovative visual content that showcases their skills in directing, editing, and utilizing modern digital tools.The competition reflected the college’s commitment to fostering digital creativity and supporting young talents in media and technology through a competitive and inspiring environment that enhances visual communication skills.

The College of Nursing Club – Female Campus in Mahayel Asir organized the “Basic Nursing Skills Competition” on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, aiming to develop students’ practical skills and enhance their proficiency in performing essential nursing tasks through an interactive format combining learning and competition. The event featured an engaging educational atmosphere that fostered professional understanding, teamwork, and collaboration, reflecting the college’s commitment to improving educational outcomes and linking training to clinical practice.

The College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait held an event titled “Nursing Leadership Skills: Leadership, Decision, Teamwork” on Tuesday, November 3, 2025, at the college theater, attended by 30 faculty members and nursing students. The event aimed to enhance participants’ leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. It addressed the concept and importance of leadership in the nursing profession, featured video presentations illustrating the difference between effective and ineffective teams, and included an interactive activity—a tower-building game using plastic straws—to reinforce collaboration, coordination, and decision-making skills within a nursing work environment.

The College of Law at King Khalid University organized the “Law Debates: Artificial Intelligence and the Law” event, which combined legal thought with creative dialogue in an intellectually stimulating and academically competitive atmosphere. Held over two days, Monday and Tuesday, November 3 and 4, 2025, at the College of Law Theater, the event featured on its first day a training workshop on the art of debate delivered by Dr. Bushra Al-Quraishi, followed by impressive rounds of debates on the second day addressing issues related to artificial intelligence and its legal accountability, in the presence of an engaged audience of students and faculty members.

King Khalid University’s Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Engineering, organized the “PlayStation and Baloot Championship” event under the “Athletes” program on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Arshidni Initiative venue in Al-Fara’a. The event featured competitions in FC26 and Baloot games, aimed at relieving exam stress through engaging entertainment, fostering positive spirit and social interaction among students, supporting student activities, and developing collaborative skills, concluding with lively competitions and an enthusiastic student turnout.

The College of Computer Science Club (Female Section), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “My Programming Skills Competition” over two consecutive days, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 4–5, 2025, with the aim of fostering technical creativity and enhancing students’ programming skills. The event began with a numerical systems conversion challenge (ASCII, HEXA, DECIMAL, BINARY) that tested participants’ speed and accuracy in applying core programming concepts, creating an engaging and competitive environment that reflected their enthusiasm for technology and coding.
