The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the Applied College in Sarat Abidah – Female Section, organised a training course titled “Entrepreneurship and Freelancing” on Wednesday, 5 November 2025. The course aimed to promote an entrepreneurial culture among students, develop innovative and entrepreneurial thinking skills, and equip them with the knowledge required to start their own projects, contributing to supporting the national economy and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in youth empowerment and expanding opportunities for freelancing.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the Applied College in Mahayel Asir, organised the Future Skills Exhibition (LEARN@KKU) on Monday, 10 November 2025, in collaboration with the College Club and the Deanship of Student Affairs – Female Section. The exhibition aimed to develop students’ future skills and prepare them to meet the demands of the modern labor market by introducing essential technical and professional skills for the digital era, while promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation, contributing to the preparation of a distinguished generation capable of competing and excelling across various fields.

The College of Computer Science Club, in collaboration with the College of Medicine Club, concluded its three-day from Sunday, November 9 to Tuesday, November 11, 2025 Design Thinking Camp, which aimed to train students in designing innovative health-related solutions. The event featured final project presentations judged on innovation, feasibility, and community impact. The “Jurati” project won first place, followed by “Implanted Sensor Technologies” in second place and “Techno-Therapy” in third, reflecting a valuable experience that strengthened students’ creative and applied skills.\

The College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait – Female Section – organised a distinguished educational event titled “Blue Code Challenge” on Tuesday, 11/11/2025, aimed at training students to handle emergency situations and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation while enhancing critical thinking, quick response, teamwork, and leadership skills. The event employed simulation-based learning within active learning strategies, with the stage set up to replicate a fully equipped emergency room, providing a practical environment that closely mirrors real-life scenarios and strengthens students’ readiness to manage emergencies effectively.

The Applied Medical Sciences Club in Abha – Female Section, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs – Female Section, organised a distinguished scientific event titled “From Knowledge to Practice: Bridging Study and Research” on Sunday, 10 November 2025. The event aimed to highlight the importance of integrating theoretical academic knowledge with practical application in medical sciences. It focused on enhancing students’ research skills and connecting theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice through interactive activities that allow participants to experience scientific concepts directly, strengthening both their research and practical competencies.

The Applied College in Mahayel, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs – Female Section, organised the “Law in Our Lives” event on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, aiming to promote legal awareness and connect it to everyday life through an interactive environment combining presentations, simulations, and experiential learning. The event stood out for integrating legal education with practical experience, providing students with the opportunity to explore legal concepts and understand their real-world applications, linking theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice and enhancing their legal awareness in daily life.

The Education College Club – Female Section – organised the “As They See” event on Tuesday, 11/11/2025, aiming to promote understanding of the world from diverse perspectives and to foster awareness and empathy towards different social groups. The program included sensory and interactive simulations, alongside illustrative video clips showing how children, individuals with disabilities, and those with psychological disorders perceive their environment differently, providing attendees the opportunity to reflect on human experiences from multiple angles and linking knowledge with direct experiential learning.

The “Public Health Leader” event, organised by the Applied Medical Sciences Club in Khamis Mushait, was held on Sunday, 9 November 2025, aiming to develop students’ leadership skills and enhance strategic thinking and decision-making abilities through the analysis of health-related issues and the creation of innovative solutions. The event featured hands-on activities and workshops focused on teamwork, effective communication, and the use of data to support health decisions, providing a comprehensive learning experience that strengthens leadership competencies and professional skills in the healthcare field.

The Applied College in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs – Female Section, organised the “Accounting Tree from Scratch” program, held on Monday, 10/11/2025, at the college theatre from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. The program aimed to present accounting concepts in a simplified and interactive manner. It featured several segments and presentations covering key accounting topics, alongside an interactive exhibition of accounting handouts and displays, with hospitality provided, creating an engaging educational environment that enhanced students’ practical and conceptual skills in the field of accounting.

The Tourism and Hospitality Club, in partnership with the College of Arts and Humanities and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs – Female Section, organised the “Elevator-Free Day” event, held on Thursday, 6 November 2025, aiming to promote daily physical activity and encourage students to stay active in an enjoyable and healthy way. The event featured interactive games such as football, tennis, and carrom, along with a special floor session, creating a lively and motivating environment that fosters movement and supports a healthy lifestyle culture among students.
