Around 60 students attended, and the program included practical guidance on court procedures and the fundamentals of advocacy before administrative courts.

The event featured Professor of Philosophy Chair at the University, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Qarni, who highlighted the role of the chair in supporting research, discussed major philosophical themes including existence, knowledge, values, and logic, emphasizing the flexibility of thought with his statement: “Philosophy is a mold influenced by what is placed in it.” The program concluded with an interactive discussion, where Dr. Al-Qarni answered students’ questions, providing an enriching academic experience for the 30 attendees and reflecting the club’s vision of enhancing the university’s intellectual environment.

The Medical and Innovation Club – Female Students at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a training program titled “Basic Suturing Skills” on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the College of Medicine, aiming to enhance students’ practical surgical skills by linking theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice in a safe training environment. The program included lectures on surgical sterilization, instruments, suturing techniques, various knots, and practical applications such as simple, continuous, vertical and horizontal mattress sutures, subcuticular sutures, skin stapling, and suture removal, all supervised by a team of specialized doctors. The event featured active participation, a concluding discussion session, and recognition of the participating doctors for their contributions, providing students with a comprehensive and valuable learning experience.
