The College of Engineering – Female Section, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an educational visit to the Saudi Electricity Company on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The visit featured a workshop by Fluke, led by Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Shahrani, on thermal imaging technology and its role in predictive maintenance. Students also participated in a field tour covering generation, transmission, cables, and distribution workshops, gaining hands-on insights into turbine maintenance, current conductors, insulators, and smart meters.

The Central Grants Club for Female Students, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Grant of Life Camp”, featuring a comprehensive Arabic language learning program for non-native speakers from Sunday, February 16, to Thursday, February 20, 2025. The program aimed to teach Arabic fundamentals to Central Grants Club students, fostering their cultural and academic integration during their university studies, in line with the growing emphasis on strengthening cultural and linguistic exchange among nations.

The Applied College Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, concluded the E-Marketing and Law Forum with a specialized workshop titled “Cyber Law: Corporate Law and Modern Technologies”, presented by Dr. Engy Abdelghani. The workshop took place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the college theater, targeting female students interested in entrepreneurship, e-marketing, and legal aspects of business. With an audience of 120 students, the session covered key topics such as legal frameworks for startups, regulations governing e-commerce, and digital rights protection in the modern business landscape.

The Applied College Club in Dhahran Al-Janoub organized the “A Step for Better Health” event on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the college square opposite the theater. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of exercise, encourage walking as a regular activity, and increase the number of participants engaging in daily walking exercises. The event was led by female students from the club, with sessions divided into thematic groups discussing topics such as the concept of exercise and physical activity, its role in enhancing fitness levels, different types of sports, reasons for practicing sports, and the overall health benefits of regular physical activity.

The Scholarship Central Club for Female Students, under the sponsorship of the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Mad Hat” event on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The event aimed to foster creativity and fun among students. The activity took place inside a giant ice hat, specially installed to enhance the excitement and creativity of the event. Participants had the opportunity to express their unique personalities by designing and wearing unconventional hats both inside and outside the installation. The event also featured artistic displays representing various cultures, with students, club members, and administrators engaging in brainstorming sessions, adding to the enthusiasm and joy of the occasion.

The Applied College Club organized the CEO Cup Football Tournament, forming eight teams, each consisting of 12 students, based on the college’s specializations. The teams competed in groups, and the Marketing and Tourism teams advanced to the final. The final took place on Tuesday, February 25, and ended with a victory for the Marketing team, with a score of 9-3. At the end of the event, Dr. Ahmed Al-Muraei, the CEO, honored the students and awarded the gold medals to the winning team, the silver medals to the second-place team, and presented cups to the best scorer, best goalkeeper, and best player.

The Central Arts Club organized a celebration at the Founding Day booth on Monday, February 24, 2025, in the presence of the University President, Dr. Falah bin Rajahallah Al-Sulami. The booth featured a display of various artworks and heritage pieces, along with an oud music performance, distribution of flowers, and commemorative photos, creating a unique celebratory atmosphere. The event received wide engagement from the attendees and the Central Arts Club was awarded first place in the Best Participation Award during the university’s celebrations, in recognition of its excellence in showcasing Saudi heritage and promoting national identity.

The College of Languages and Translation Club participated in the Founding Day Exhibition held on Monday, February 24, 2025, through its dedicated booth. The booth featured an informative presentation about Abdullah Al-Bukhayr, the translator of King Abdulaziz Al Saud. The presentation highlighted his role in translating royal messages and speeches. It also included a visual presentation of his biography and showcased translated documents in several languages, documenting significant stages of King Abdulaziz’s history.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Volunteering Club, hosted the “Qimam and Shimm” camp for training volunteer leaders from 17th to 21st February, in partnership with the College of Languages and Translation Club. The camp offered a series of training workshops on topics such as inspiring leadership, design thinking, skills development, and the role of student activities in building leadership character. The camp concluded with the design of professional volunteer initiatives, and certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participants for their active involvement.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences Club in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Female Section of the College, and the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait, organized an awareness event titled “Lung Diseases in the Elderly” on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Central Library in Al-Fara’a. The event was attended by the college’s vice dean, department heads, faculty members, and a number of visitors who benefited from the awareness session.
