The College of Pharmacy at King Khalid University organised the “Moshoura” health awareness event, held on Thursday, 6 November 2025, at Lavanda Park as part of its efforts to promote health education and preventive practices. The event featured informative stations on mental health disorders, diabetes, hypertension, and over-the-counter medications, along with the distribution of educational leaflets highlighting the essential role of pharmacists in awareness, treatment, and prevention, contributing to the well-being of both individuals and the community.

The Applied College in Tanuma organised the “Future Systems Hackathon” at the college theatre, with the event — held on Sunday, 09/11/2025 — designed to create a motivating competitive environment that encourages students to think creatively and develop innovative, tech-based solutions. The hackathon focused on presenting practical and intelligent ideas that address challenges within the university or the wider community, emphasising the use of modern technologies to develop sustainable future systems and services, in alignment with the college’s aim to strengthen digital competencies and enrich students with forward-looking technological experiences.

The Business School Club organised the Knowledge Race at the Computer Science Faculty stage, with the event — held on Sunday, 9 November 2025 — forming part of the college’s efforts to enhance students’ understanding of business majors through an engaging and interactive format. The programme featured a concise visual presentation with dynamic questions designed to clarify the competition’s stages and encourage active participation, supported by innovative presentation elements that enriched the overall experience and underscored the college’s commitment to delivering stimulating and purposeful academic content.

The College of Science Club, in partnership with Ambassadors of Science Club, College of Computing Club, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs Activities Unit, organized the Student Creativity Exhibition titled “Innovators in the Realm of Science” on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Central Library at Al-Farha. The exhibition aimed to showcase students’ scientific and creative talents, encouraging them to transform their ideas and projects into practical innovations that serve the community. The event witnessed the active participation of over 150 students, reflecting the university’s commitment to fostering student innovation and creativity.

The College of Science Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs Activities Unit, organized a specialized social program titled “Beneficial Knowledge… Lasting Impact” on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the College of Science lobby. The program aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the role of science in serving humanity and society, while highlighting the importance of scientific research and its practical applications. Over 60 students participated actively, reflecting the club’s commitment to fostering scientific awareness and developing students’ research skills.

As part of promoting integrity, transparency, and governance principles within the university community, the Integrity Club, in collaboration with the Business Club, held the “Governance and Integrity Values” event on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 – 20 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447H. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of governance in building trust and enhancing institutional performance, while instilling a culture of integrity and responsibility among students. The program included a welcoming speech, an introductory presentation on governance and integrity values, a visual presentation, and an interactive discussion session where students explored the application of these principles in university life, contributing to strengthening transparency and accountability in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The Ambassadors of Knowledge Club, in collaboration with the College of Science Club and the College of Computer Science Club, and in partnership with the Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, hosted the “Student Creativity Exhibition” on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 – 21 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447H, at the Central Library in Al-Farha at 10:00 AM. The exhibition included a workshop titled “Intellectual Property: From Idea to Protection” presented by Mr. Abdullah Dhafer Al-Asmari, covering the concept of intellectual property, patent requirements, characteristics, objectives, and the importance of protecting innovations and ideas. Following the workshop, students’ inventions and creative projects from various disciplines were showcased, engaging over 150 students from across the university. Attendees praised the high quality of organization, the excellence of the exhibition and workshop, and the pivotal role of the Ambassadors of Knowledge Club in fostering and supporting scientific innovation among students.

The Applied College Club in Sarat Ubaida organized the “Tech Journey” program on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and STC – Asir Branch, targeting Information Systems students. The program was held at the company’s facilities, where 15 students explored the future of artificial intelligence and information technology, data center operations and system monitoring, STC’s key achievements and future plans aligned with Vision 2030 and digital transformation, as well as the latest telecommunications and AI technologies. Students engaged with company staff and gained valuable practical experience, connecting academic knowledge with professional practice, in an initiative that reflects King Khalid University’s commitment to enhancing applied learning and preparing students for the labor market.

The Applied College Club in Mu’ail Asir, in partnership with the Deanship of Student Affairs – Student Activities, hosted the Heritage Authority of Rijal Alma on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (20 Jumada I 1447H), in the “Through Asir” event. The event focused on presenting practical models for tourism marketing mechanisms in the Asir region, targeting students of the Tourism Management and Business Administration programs, highlighting the integration of human and technical elements. The activity took place at the Rijal Alma Heritage Village from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the participation of 20 students from the college.

The College of Culture and Arts Club at King Khalid University – Rijal Alma branch, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs – Student Activities, organized the “Youth Lens” event on Tuesday, 20/5/1447H, corresponding to November 11, 2025. The event aimed to develop students’ photography skills and highlight their creative talents through practical and training programs. Mr. Karam delivered a visual presentation covering photography fundamentals, followed by a practical session showcasing the latest photography tools and techniques. Several students presented outstanding photographic works, with student Rakan Al-Asiri awarded the Best Photo for his artistic and creative excellence. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to support student activities and foster academic creativity.
