The Applied College Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Students), organized a diabetes awareness program titled “Managing Diabetes” on Sunday, 16 November 2025. The event featured a comprehensive health booth with educational brochures and informational displays that explained the causes, types, and prevention of diabetes in a simple way. Participants also had their blood sugar tested and learned correct measurement techniques and lifestyle habits to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.

The Nursing College Club in Muhayil Asir – Female Campus, in partnership with the Volunteer and Community Partnerships Committee and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Students), organized a community event in celebration of World Children’s Day on Sunday, 16 November 2025, at Al-Mudawah Hospital in Muhayil Asir. This initiative reflects the college’s commitment to promoting health and community awareness, reinforcing child protection principles, and supporting children’s psychological and physical well-being through impactful initiatives that serve the community and align with its educational and health mission.

The Nursing College Club in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Students), organized the Winter Clothing Initiative on Sunday, 16 November 2025. The initiative aimed to strengthen the values of giving and community responsibility. Participating students arranged and distributed winter clothing to female workers in need within the university campus, bringing warmth and joy during the winter season and embodying the spirit of social solidarity among the university community.

The International Students Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the International Students Department, and in partnership with the Ambassadors of Knowledge Club and the College of Science Club, held the International Students Day event on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Central Library, King Khalid University, attended by the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam. The event highlighted cultural diversity and promoted student interaction, featuring cultural booths that showcased participants’ traditions and heritage, creating a rich educational and cultural experience praised by attendees.

The Creative Thinking Club at King Khalid University, in collaboration with the Business Center, concluded the “HallhaThon” competition on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Business Center Theater – Al-Fara’a, with 39 students participating across 9 teams in diverse tracks: Technology, Education, Social, Economic, and Sustainability. After evaluating ideas according to set criteria, 7 teams were selected for training in technical innovation, design thinking, and presentation skills, delivered by Areej Al-Shahrani, Dr. Naif Jabli, and Dr. Mohammed Harisi. On the final day, teams presented their projects to the judging panel, and the winners were honored for their creativity and outstanding ideas.

The Sustainable Entrepreneurship Hackathon, organized by the Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Clubs in partnership with the Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the female students’ campus. Participants presented innovative projects across five tracks supporting the university’s sustainability initiatives: Sustainable Energy, Health Innovation, Smart Education, Sustainable Cities, and Climate Protection. The event concluded with the top three projects being honored in recognition of the students’ creativity and practical solutions, with the judging panel praising the quality and feasibility of the ideas.

The Digital Technology Club at King Khalid University, in partnership with the Nazaha Club and the Entrepreneurship Center, and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, hosted the “Integrity in Using AI in the Academic Environment” event on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at CODE LAB – Quraiger, attended by female students. The event highlighted ethical practices in AI usage, adherence to academic standards, and included practical examples to guide responsible technology use. It concluded with certificate distribution amid active participation and engagement from attendees.

The Digital Technology Club, in collaboration with the Scientific Research Unit at the College of Computer Science and the Entrepreneurship Center, conducted the “Responding to Cyberattacks” workshop from November 9 to 12, 2025, at CODE LAB – Quraiger, presented by Dr. Sara Abu Ghazaleh. The course focused on practical approaches to cybersecurity, with students learning methods to detect breaches, analyze attacks, and conduct hands-on experiments using cybersecurity tools to identify intrusions and secure systems. The workshop also included simulations of real attack environments to enhance effective incident response skills. The program concluded with a review of practical outcomes and best practices for system security, highlighting the students’ enthusiasm and commitment to developing their cybersecurity capabilities.

The Applied College Club in Tanomah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Kholas Ebda’” event on Sunday, November 16, 2025, providing a platform for students to showcase innovative ideas and develop their creative skills. Participants included Ali Mohammed Ali Al-Shahri, Muhannad Yahya Al-Ahmari, and Mohammed Faiz Al-Shahri, and the event was attended by numerous students and faculty members, led by Dr. Abdullah Al-Shahri, CEO of the college. The event concluded with recognition of participants in a celebratory atmosphere full of pride and achievement.

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Al-Samaa Sessions on Umdat al-Ahkam” program on Sunday, November 16, 2025, attended by approximately 50 students. The program featured Dr. Yahya bin Hussein Al-Harbi, a faculty member in the Department of Fiqh and Its Fundamentals, and aimed to grant students certification in classical Islamic texts, providing direct scholarly engagement with the text of Al-Hafiz Al-Maqdisi’s Umdat al-Ahkam and its author, thereby enhancing students’ academic level and enriching their study experience in Fiqh and its principles.
