The podcast featured the College Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Al-Qarni, who discussed the pivotal role of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion in national development, the connection between the specialization and labor market requirements, and concluded by emphasizing the responsibilities of students in contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The College of Education Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a program on Sunday, November 9, 2025, titled “Educational Foundations in Saudi Vision 2030”. The program aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of educational foundations and their role in advancing education and achieving the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in addition to fostering national values and positive thinking. The program was presented by Prof. Khudran Abdullah Al-Suhaimi, who addressed educational themes linked to the national vision, highlighting the role of teachers, students, and educational institutions in achieving these objectives, and included a discussion of students’ questions and inquiries with active participation from over 60 attendees.

The Law College Club organized a seminar on Monday, November 10, 2025, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs – Student Activities, titled “Tax Systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Legislation and Implementation”, presented by Dr. Mansour Al-Mershudi. The seminar covered the concept of Zakat, its objectives, conditions, and applicable categories, and in the second part, it addressed the definition of taxes, rules of imposition, types, and related disputes. The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the tax system and connect theoretical knowledge with practical application. The seminar was, Law College Building, attended by university students interested in legal and financial matters, demonstrating notable engagement and interest in the mechanisms of tax legislation and implementation in the Kingdom.

The College of Law Club, in collaboration with the Central Science Ambassadors Club and the Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, hosted Professor Mohammed Al-Omari (Abu Al-Tayeb) in a dialogue session titled “The Role of Rhetoric and Literature for Legal Professionals” on Sunday, 18 Jumada I 1447 AH – November 9, 2025, at the Central Library, Al-Faraa. The session highlighted the importance of rhetoric and language in enhancing legal professionals’ persuasive skills and drafting of arguments, demonstrating how linguistic expression strengthens advocacy and legal reasoning, with an audience exceeding 120 students who actively engaged with the insightful ideas connecting literature and law, reflecting the fruitful collaboration between the College of Law Club and the Science Ambassadors Club to enrich students’ academic and cultural understanding.

“Mashura” Event at College of Pharmacy in Khamis Mushait Promotes Mental Health Medication Awareness

The College of Pharmacy Club in Khamis Mushait, in partnership with the College of Nursing Club and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the “Mashura” event on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Lavenda Park Complex. The event aimed to raise social awareness about the proper use of mental health medications and caution against misuse that may lead to addiction, including guidance on medications that may trigger suicidal thoughts. A dedicated counseling corner was supervised by faculty members, with the attendance of the college vice deans, faculty members, representatives from the Deanship of Student Affairs, and students, highlighting the university’s commitment to combining health education with student and community engagement.
