The Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the General Administration of International Students at King Khalid University, organized a workshop as part of the 2025 World Mental Health Day activities under the theme “Access to Mental Health Services in Crises and Disasters.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Jibran Yahya Makhzi and Mr. Qabeel Jadi’ Al-Yazidi, and moderated by Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Khubaih. The session witnessed active participation from international students and concluded with gifts distributed to attendees, providing an educational and awareness-raising environment to promote mental health within the international student community.

The Vice Deanship for Female Students Affairs, represented by the Cultural and Social Activities Department, organized the “Early Breakfast is Best” event with the participation of a group of female students at King Khalid University, who presented live artworks in oil paints reflecting the campaign’s message through their creative interpretations. The event took place at the Guraiger Campus, based on the belief that art is a powerful tool to raise awareness and convey human-centered messages in aesthetically expressive ways.

The Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, under the Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded the Jacaro Championship at King Khalid University after two days of competitive matches that showcased remarkable talent among the participating students. At the conclusion of the event, the top three winners were honored, with Samar Al-Shahrani receiving the gold medal, Darin Al-Zahrani taking silver, and Rawan Al-Shahri earning bronze, in a celebratory atmosphere recognizing the students’ sporting achievements.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Computer Science – Male Section, organized an event on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 4–5, 2025, titled “Algebra Café.” The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of fundamental algebra concepts in an engaging and interactive way by fostering a collaborative learning environment that encouraged discussion and teamwork in solving problems, thereby improving academic performance and analytical skills among students.

King Khalid University’s Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Applied Sciences in Mahayel Asir – Female Section, in collaboration with the College Club and the Deanship of Student Affairs Agency for Female Students, organized an awareness program on Sunday, November 2, 2025, titled “Osteoporosis.” The program aimed to increase students’ health awareness about this silent disease, its prevention methods, and factors affecting bone health.

King Khalid University’s Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Law, organized a training course titled “Arbitration under Saudi Commercial Regulations” from Tuesday, November 4, to Thursday, November 6, 2025, delivered by Dr. Hani Hassan Abd Rabah. The course aimed to introduce students to the legal framework of commercial arbitration in Saudi Arabia and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage arbitration cases and understand their practical application in legal work, enhancing their professional readiness and legal competence.

King Khalid University’s Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Architecture and Planning, organized a workshop on Sunday, November 2, 2025, titled “Creating an Architectural Portfolio.” The workshop aimed to equip students with the skills needed to prepare and design a professional architectural portfolio that highlights their abilities and academic projects effectively, focusing on the best methods to present projects and skills in alignment with labor market requirements and advanced academic opportunities.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the Applied College in Tanomah, organized a lecture titled “Collaboration and Teamwork,” delivered by Mr. Muhammad Riyadh Al-Islam and Dr. Al-Sadiq Hussein in the training hall. The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of teamwork in enhancing the academic work environment, improving effective communication skills among individuals, and reinforcing the concept of participation and coordination to achieve shared goals efficiently and professionally.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Arts and Humanities, organized an award ceremony on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, honoring outstanding students for the academic year 1446H across all college programs (Diploma – Bachelor – Master – Doctorate). The event was attended by the Dean, vice-deans, and department heads, recognizing students’ achievements and encouraging continued academic excellence, and included a group photo to document the occasion.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the Applied College in Mahayel Asir – Male Section, organized a training course on Sunday, November 2, 2025, titled “Engineering the Academic and Professional Future of University Students.” The course aimed to introduce students to the concept of life and future engineering, emphasize the importance of balancing personal and professional aspects, and enable them to explore their interests and abilities to consciously and wisely determine their future paths, thereby building a clear vision of their goals and aspirations.
