The Dental College Club in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Agency for Female Students, organized a workshop on “Principles of Root Canal Treatment”, presented by Dr. Mohammed Al-Obaid, a specialist in root canal and dental education, on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Dental College Theater - Al-Fara’a. The workshop was attended by approximately 100 students and several faculty members.

The Applied College Club in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Ideas and Talents Market” program on January 29/30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event took place in the College Courtyard on Wednesday and the next day in partnership with Qur’an Memorization Schools in Abha. The event saw a large turnout of female students and featured a number of outstanding student-run stores across various fields.

In its continuous effort to enhance creative skills among female students, the College of Languages and Translation Club organized the “Linguistic Creativities” program, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The program took place at the College Theater, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a large number of students attending, all eager to develop their skills in writing and public speaking.

The Applied College Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the first event of the “Training and Professional Development Caravan” initiative, featuring the “Accounting for Sustainability and ESG Reporting” program, aimed at enhancing professional skills and developing the capabilities of female students in the field of accounting. The program was delivered on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the college theater, presented by Dr. Abeer Bakri, who highlighted the importance of environmental and social sustainability reports and corporate governance, stressing their vital role in today’s business world.

On Monday, February 4, the College of Law Club, in collaboration with several other clubs, organized the “Book Fair” program, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of books and copyright protection. The fair highlighted copyright issues under the theme “Your Creativity Deserves Protection”.

The Applied College Club in Sarwat Abida (Male Section), in collaboration with the Female Section of the College Club and in community partnership with the Sarwat Charity Association, organized the “Systems Development” program on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, aimed at analyzing the challenges facing the association in information systems and offering innovative developmental solutions by the students of the Information Systems Department.

The College of Education Club organized a workshop titled “Behavior Modification Techniques” on Monday, Rajab 24, 1446 AH (February 4, 2025), presented by Dr. Khaled Hammouri, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Room 71B at the College of Education, with around 40 students in attendance. The workshop covered the concept and importance of behavior modification, highlighting key techniques and strategies such as reinforcement, punishment, extinction, and shaping. Dr. Khaled also emphasized practical applications in educational and social settings, stressing the importance of selecting appropriate methods for effective outcomes.

The Applied College Club in Tanumah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs Agency, concluded the college championship on Tuesday, February 4, 2026, with an exciting match between Team U7 and Al-Abtal Team, ending in a 4-3 victory for Al-Abtal. The event saw great engagement, reinforcing the club’s role in promoting sports and student competition.

The College of Medicine Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a workshop titled “Problem-Based Learning” over two days, Saturday and Sunday, January 2-3. The workshop featured Dr. Saif Aboud, Head of the Internal Medicine Department, Dr. Mona Al-Shahrani, and Dr. Shahid Aziz from the Family Medicine Department, and was attended by a distinguished group of medical students, reinforcing interactive learning approaches and academic skill development.

The Pages Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the General Administration of Knowledge Resources, and in partnership with several student clubs, organized the Book Fair on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Central Library in Al-Qaraa. The fair attracted around 1,000 visitors, earning widespread praise and affirming its status as a prominent cultural event within the university.
