The College of Nursing Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha and the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the event titled “Causes of Lung Cancer” on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Central Library in the University City at Al-Fara. The event was a health, social, and voluntary program aimed at educating university students, faculty members, and visitors to the library. It attracted 110 visitors from across the university community.

The College of Science Club, in partnership with the Departments of Biology and Chemistry and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized a specialized awareness event titled “Food Additives – Hidden Secrets and Health Risks.” The event aimed to educate students about the impact of food additives on public health and highlight their potential risks, attracting around 60 students. The event took place on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the ground floor lobby of the College of Science, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qaed Asiri, CEO of the Applied College in Mahayil, the Applied College Club (Male and Female Divisions), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems” event on February 19, 2025. The event included an exhibition, panel discussions, and workshops on ERP systems such as SAP, Odoo, Oracle, and NetSuite, focusing on the role of technology and AI in improving institutional efficiency. The event concluded with a recognition ceremony for participants’ contributions.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences Club in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Health Through Time” event on Monday, February 17, 2025, in the presence of the college dean and faculty members. Students from the departments of Physical Therapy, Speech Disorders, Audiology, and Radiological Sciences showcased the historical evolution of these fields and key advancements in disease diagnosis and treatment, distributing educational brochures to attendees.

The College of Medicine Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a training course titled “Basics of Laparoscopy” to enhance medical students’ clinical and surgical skills, providing them with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in laparoscopic surgery. The course was held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Aniville Hotel.

The College of Law Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and in partnership with the Female Section, organized a distinguished Legal Day on Sunday, February 16, 2025, corresponding to Sha’ban 17, 1446 AH, titled “The Art of Contract Drafting.” The event featured a training course, a workshop, and legal competitions, concluding with an award ceremony to honor the winners for their outstanding participation.

The Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion College Club, in collaboration with the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles and the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Studying Administrative Judiciary Systems” program. The program lasted for four sessions from January 27th to February 16th, 2025. The aim of the program was to introduce the administrative judiciary system in the Kingdom, highlighting its key features and important characteristics. The program featured Dr. Abdulilah Al-Shahrani, Associate Professor of Law at the college, who delivered insightful lectures on the subject.

The Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion College Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the “Inventory of Scientific Texts” program from February 10th to 18th, 2025. The program included four scientific sessions in the fields of Quran and its Sciences, Hadith and its Sciences, Theology and Contemporary Sects, and Jurisprudence and its Principles. These sessions were presented by several faculty members, and nearly 100 students from the college benefited from the program, enriching their knowledge in these scientific areas.

The College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Linguistic Skills Marathon” over two consecutive days, Monday and Tuesday, February 17th and 18th, 2025. The event gathered female students in a series of interactive activities aimed at enhancing fundamental linguistic skills in English, providing an excellent opportunity to improve language abilities through engaging and motivational methods.

The Central Scholarship Club for Female Students, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a visit to the University Museum in Al-Fara’a on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The students embarked on an educational journey aimed at enhancing cultural and historical awareness among students and those interested in heritage. The visit included a tour of the Heritage Books Section, which contains valuable collections documenting the history and cultural heritage of the Kingdom.
