King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Center for Student Care and Counseling, held a program entitled “Choose Those Who Lift You, Not Those Who Weigh You Down… Good Company Makes a Difference” at the Applied College in Dhahran Al-Janoub. The program aimed to raise awareness of the importance of choosing positive company and its impact on personal growth and academic and social success by highlighting effective communication skills and building supportive relationships that contribute to a positive university environment.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Center for Student Care and Counseling, held a training program entitled “How to Prepare Professionally to Pass the TOEFL Test” at the Applied College in Dhahran Al-Janoub. The program aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare professionally for the TOEFL test by understanding its structure and sections, applying effective answering strategies, and enhancing English language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, thereby improving their academic competence and enabling them to achieve outstanding results.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Center for Student Care and Counseling, organized a training program entitled “Interview Skills: Preparation – Confidence – Excellence” at the Applied College in Dhahran Al-Janoub. The program aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for personal interviews with confidence and excellence, through understanding key self-presentation methods and effective communication techniques, thereby enhancing their employment opportunities and success in the labor market.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs through the Student Care and Counseling Center (Academic Guidance Unit), organized an academic program titled “Mental Resilience and Academic Adaptability” at the College of Nursing and the Applied College in Mahayel Asir, aiming to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of mental resilience in facing academic challenges and to develop adaptability skills for academic life, contributing to improved academic performance and psychological and academic balance.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs through the Student Care and Counseling Center (Academic Guidance Unit), implemented an academic program titled “The Impact of Daily Habits on Academic Performance” at the Applied College in Al-Majardah, aiming to enhance students’ awareness of the effect of daily habits on academic achievement and develop academic adaptability skills to improve study performance and achieve psychological and academic balance.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center (Academic Guidance Unit), implemented a program titled “The Difference Between Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation and Its Impact on Academic Excellence” at the College of Culture and Arts and the Applied College in Rijal Alma. The program aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the role of intrinsic and extrinsic motivators in achieving academic excellence and develop adaptability and mental resilience skills to face academic challenges, contributing to improved academic performance and psychological and academic balance.

The King Khalid University Taekwondo Team achieved first place in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Championship, hosted by Tabuk University from October 14 to 18, 2025, winning five medals, with the support of the Deanship of Student Affairs, reflecting the university’s athletic excellence and its commitment to developing students’ abilities across various university sports.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, held the “Student Clubs Crown” ceremony in the presence of the Dean, Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, with the participation of more than 84 club supervisors and leaders. The College of Science Club (male section) won first place and received the Student Clubs Crown flag, while the Central Entrepreneurship Club achieved first place among central clubs. Dr. Mohammed Harisi was honored as Best Central Club Supervisor, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi received the award for Best College Club Supervisor. The College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait Club came in second, the College of Law Club took third, and the Central Volunteer Work Club earned second place among central clubs.

In the presence of King Khalid University’s Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by its Dean, Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, signed several agreements with private sector institutions. The agreements aim to enhance training and development opportunities, foster students’ practical skills, and align educational outcomes with labor market needs in support of national development goals.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center (Social Counseling Unit), implemented a program titled “Managing Relationships in the Digital Space,” presented by Dr. Saleha Mohammed Amhadeesh. The program addressed the importance of digital relationships, the psychology of communication, and ethical values in online interactions, with the participation of female students, faculty members, and staff at King Khalid University. The initiative aimed to develop digital communication skills and enhance quality of life amid rapid technological advancements.
