The College of Applied Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Autism Heroes: Their Support Makes a Difference” event, supervised by the Speech Therapy Department, led by Dr. Nadia Abdel Salam, Assistant Professor in the Speech Therapy Department. The event was held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Academic Center in Qareer, and witnessed significant participation and interaction from the center’s staff. The event aimed to raise awareness about autism spectrum disorder and the importance of societal support and acceptance for individuals with autism.
