The Nursing College Club in Mahayel Asir, in partnership with Mahayel General Hospital, held a three-day blood donation campaign, “A Drop of Life.” The campaign featured an educational booth where nursing students provided insights into the health benefits of blood donation. Over 50 individuals benefited from the campaign, promoting a spirit of generosity and community responsibility.

The College of Education hosted a seminar titled “Applications of AI in Psychological Counseling” on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, corresponding to 22 Rabi’ al-Thani 1446 AH, presented by Dr. Nabil Sufyan. The seminar covered key topics, including AI’s role in diagnosing mental disorders like depression and anxiety, and virtual psychotherapy applications. Faculty members and students from the College of Education attended the event.

The College of Medicine Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Pharmacy Clubs, organized the “Be Aware” mental health awareness event on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Khamis Mushait Boulevard. Dr. Maha Amoudi and Dr. Waddah Al-Amma’ei provided interactive psychological consultations on topics like common mental illnesses, social stigma, proper use of psychiatric medications, and addiction treatment. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health.

The intensive training session covered project management fundamentals and skills, including the responsibilities of a project manager, key management processes, and the importance of meeting objectives, ensuring quality, and adhering to timelines and budgets. The session concluded with thanks to the attendees and a reaffirmation of the workshop’s goals.
