The event featured theatrical and musical performances, with Mr. Mustafa Youssef presenting a theatrical scene illustrating music’s impact on theater, accompanied by interactive musical pieces by Dr. Anis Benkrim with students Hussam Asiri and Ziad Bjad, highlighting the integration of music and art. The program concluded with interactive discussions between students and faculty, promoting experience exchange and enhancing understanding of the event’s themes.

The Medical and Innovation Club – Female Students at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a training program titled “Basic Suturing Skills” on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the College of Medicine, aiming to enhance students’ practical surgical skills by linking theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice in a safe training environment. The program included lectures on surgical sterilization, instruments, suturing techniques, various knots, and practical applications such as simple, continuous, vertical and horizontal mattress sutures, subcuticular sutures, skin stapling, and suture removal, all supervised by a team of specialized doctors. The event featured active participation, a concluding discussion session, and recognition of the participating doctors for their contributions, providing students with a comprehensive and valuable learning experience.

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club at King Khalid University, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, conducted a scientific visit to leading religious institutions in Makkah, including the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Manufacturing of the Kaaba’s Kiswa, and the Makkah Haram Library, from Monday to Wednesday, February 2 to 4, 2026. The visit aimed to enhance students’ academic and professional knowledge and strengthen their connection with religious institutions serving the pilgrims, in addition to reviewing efforts in preserving Islamic heritage and observing the stages of producing the Kaaba’s Kiswa. The visit was led by Dean Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Qarni, with participation from college officials and students, providing field-based programs that enriched participants’ scholarly and practical understanding.
