The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Training and Student Exchange Unit, organised the “Human Software” workshop at Al-Quraiger University City, conducted by trainer Alhanoof Maalawi. Targeting female students and graduates, the workshop aimed to enhance leadership skills, develop personal and professional capacities, and enable participants to apply effective leadership concepts in their academic and professional lives.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, won the silver award in the universities and academic sector category of the 2025 national campaign “Early Detection is Better” for breast cancer awareness, under the patronage and presence of HRH Princess Haifa bint Faisal Al Saud, Chair of Zahra Breast Cancer Association. The achievement highlights the university’s efforts to promote health awareness and support national initiatives empowering women and safeguarding their health.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Training and Student Exchange Unit in collaboration with Ab’ad Al-Asr Institute, conducted an online “Excel Skills” training course from 9 to 13 November 2025, with 600 registered participants and over 500 attending in person. The high engagement reflects students’ commitment to enhancing their technical skills and effectively using digital tools.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Training and Student Exchange Unit in collaboration with Basmih Community Services (Mutqin), organised the “Balance Your Life” workshop at Al-Quraiger University City. The workshop aimed to empower female students to develop essential life skills and achieve balance across various aspects of life, enhancing personal, social, and organizational competencies.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center at the College of Law, organised a training session titled “Judicial Systems and Online Platforms (Najiz – Moein – Taradhi)”, focusing on introducing the Kingdom’s judicial systems and the main services provided by electronic platforms to facilitate legal and judicial procedures. The session aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for entering the legal job market, cover gaps in their study plans, and prepare for the readiness and graduation tests, as part of the college’s efforts to enhance legal awareness and digital skills linked to the judicial system.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Muhayel Asir, organised student-centered activities including “A Glimpse into the Future” with health specialists to highlight the realities of the job market and academic challenges, alongside academic guidance sessions for first, third, and fifth level students to address issues and provide preliminary solutions. These initiatives aim to offer comprehensive psychological and advisory support and foster a motivating learning environment that promotes academic and professional development.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center and the Academic Guidance and Student Affairs Committee at the College of Pharmacy, organised a lecture on “Using AI Tools in Education” on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, presented by Dr. Mohammed Al-Mutaani via Zoom. The session highlighted the latest AI tools and their applications in education to enhance learning efficiency, develop students’ skills, and improve academic outcomes. It also aimed to enable students to employ these technologies in research, time management, and study skills, fostering awareness of AI’s importance and promoting higher-quality learning outcomes.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Nursing in Muhayel Asir – Male Section, organised an awareness lecture titled “The Hazards of Smoking and Drugs” on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, presented by Dr. Mohammed Habiballah. The lecture aimed to educate students about the dangers of smoking and drug use, highlight their health, psychological, and social effects, and promote positive and preventive behaviors among youth and university students, contributing to a conscious and healthy university environment.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Female Section, at the College of Architecture and Planning, organised a program titled “Architecture in the Holy Quran” on Tuesday, 11 November 2025. The program aimed to introduce architectural concepts inspired by the Holy Quran, explore the aesthetic and engineering lessons that can be applied in modern architecture, and enhance students’ cultural and religious awareness by linking architectural creativity with Islamic heritage.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center – Female Section, at the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait, organised a program titled “Modern Nursing Technologies” on Tuesday, 11 November 2025. The program aimed to introduce students to the latest techniques and tools used in nursing, enhance their practical skills in applying these technologies, improve the quality of healthcare, increase professional competence, and keep pace with scientific developments in the medical field.
