The Deanship of Student Affairs organized a course on "The Psychological and Health Impact of Sports" on Monday, 20/7/1446 . The course was presented by trainer Nuha Al-Shehri. The course aimed to highlight the importance of exercising, its psychological and health benefits, and how to make exercise a lifestyle. The second part included practical exercises with the attendance of female students from King Khalid University and university staff.

‏His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Asir Region and Chairman of its Development Authority, sponsored the graduation ceremony of King Khalid University’s 27th cohort on Tuesday evening, May 6, at the university campus in Al-Fara’a. The event celebrated the graduation of over 17,000 male and female students, marking a milestone that reflects the university’s academic excellence and its role in empowering national talent and advancing regional development goals.

‏King Khalid University’s Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Housing Administration, organized a malaria screening campaign for international students in collaboration with the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha and the Ministry of Health’s Department of Vector-Borne and Zoonotic Diseases in the Asir region. The campaign, held in observance of World Malaria Day under the theme “End Malaria with Us,” included the distribution of preventive supplies and aimed to raise health awareness and promote community protection.

‏With enthusiasm and competitive spirit, King Khalid University, through its Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded the university sports season by organizing the 2025 Swimming Championship under the supervision of the Saudi University Sports Federation. The event featured participation from 24 universities and colleges in 17 swimming races, alongside two specialized workshops and three accompanying tournaments in chess, baloot, and table tennis—highlighting a dynamic and diverse conclusion to an exceptional athletic season.

‏The 15th season of the Saudi University Sports Federation’s Swimming Championship concluded at King Khalid University’s Al-Fara’a campus, with the participation of 24 universities and colleges from across the Kingdom. Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University claimed first place, in a dynamic and competitive atmosphere that highlighted both the excellence of the event’s organization and the high caliber of athletic performance.

‏As part of the 2025 Saudi Universities Swimming Championship, King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the Open Chess Championship in collaboration with the Saudi Chess Federation and under the supervision of the Saudi University Sports Federation. The event brought together 26 players from various Saudi universities in a spirited atmosphere that fostered student engagement and promoted the values of sportsmanship and intellectual competition.

‏King Khalid University, through its Deanship of Student Affairs and under the supervision of the Saudi University Sports Federation, organized a Table Tennis Championship as part of the exchange events accompanying the 2025 University Swimming Championship. The competition featured 32 players from various Saudi universities, with the Saudi Electronic University claiming first place, and King Khalid University securing both second and third positions.

‏The accompanying workshop of the 2025 Saudi Universities Swimming Championship, titled “Data Entry for the University Sports Performance Index,” concluded after two days of sessions led by Mr. Ali Al-Munee’. Organized by King Khalid University through its Deanship of Student Affairs, and supervised by the Saudi University Sports Federation, the workshop aimed to enhance mechanisms for tracking and reporting university performance in sports and to improve the quality of data and analytics.

‏King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and under the supervision of the Saudi University Sports Federation, organized a workshop titled “The Role of Sports in the Tourism Sector.” Presented by Dr. Khalid Al-Omr, the session was part of the accompanying programs of the 15th season of the Saudi University Sports Federation’s 2025 Swimming Championship. The workshop highlighted the synergy between sports and tourism as key drivers of sustainable development and national economic growth.

‏The Recreational Baloot Championship concluded with the participation of 48 students and staff members from various Saudi universities, held as part of the accompanying events of the 2025 Saudi Universities Swimming Championship. The event was organized by King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, and supervised by the Saudi University Sports Federation. Hail University claimed first place, followed by Prince Sattam University in second.
