Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Asir Region and Chairman of its Development Authority, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University won third place in the “National Excellence Award for Mobility Impairments”.

This achievement was part of the participation of 21 entities in the “Community Initiatives Track for Entities”.

The Student Affairs Deanship, represented by the Deanship of Student Activities and the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a workshop on “Training and Qualifying Supervisors and Leaders of Student Clubs” at the university.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Saad Al-Qahtani, Vice Dean for Student Activities, and Dr. Areej Al-Bahir, Vice Dean for Female Students Affairs.

The workshop was attended by more than 85 participants, where student club operation mechanisms, key evaluation criteria, and ways to enhance the effectiveness of student clubs were discussed, along with answers to the attendees’ questions and inputs.

In the presence of the esteemed Dean of Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, the “Amad” program for King Khalid University students was launched today. The program is organized by the Deanship in collaboration with Alinma Bank from January 19 to 21, 1446H, at the Museum in the Conference Hall at Al-Fara’a.

The program aims to provide in-depth projects on financial issues, saving, debt and loan management, and budget preparation, as well as helping students understand the importance of financial planning and raising awareness among them.

Supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, the King Khalid University team achieved third place among the participating Saudi universities in the 2025 Debating League, organized by the Ministry of Sports in Riyadh from January 15 to 18, 2025. This achievement was made possible with the participation of 20 universities and 80 participants.
