The Applied Medical Sciences Club in Mahayel Asir, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, on Thursday, November 6, 2025,organized an awareness event titled “Prevention First” aimed at promoting health and safety awareness among students. The event featured hands-on demonstrations on proper handwashing and sanitization techniques, the correct sequence for wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and guidelines for maintaining sterile zones within operating rooms. It also addressed key causes of infection transmission between patients and healthcare practitioners, emphasizing the importance of adhering to preventive measures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
