The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Female Students’ Affairs Agency, organized a training workshop titled “Sports During Fasting Month” for university female students. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity during Ramadan. The first segment of the workshop highlighted the health benefits of exercising while fasting, recommended workout routines, and the best times for physical activity. The second part discussed the impact of fasting on recovery from sports injuries, providing essential guidelines to ensure safe and effective exercise during the holy month.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Student Activities Agency, concluded the “Karate” Championship as part of the 10th Sports Olympiad and the Ajawid 3 initiative. The event took place at Damac Sports Club, with the participation of several university students. The championship witnessed intense competition, where participants showcased exceptional skills and sportsmanship. At the closing ceremony, the top-ranking students were honored in recognition of their outstanding performance.

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion at King Khalid University, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the first Ramadan Quranic Exhibition under the Ajawid 3 initiative. The exhibition was inaugurated by the University’s Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Dajam, at Mojan Park in Khamis Mushait, with the participation of the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club and the Volunteer Work Club. The event aims to highlight the beauty of the Quran and promote Ramadan values through interactive displays and cultural programs designed to enhance religious awareness among visitors.

In a new achievement reflecting King Khalid University’s excellence in sports activities, the university’s volleyball team secured fourth place in the final rounds of the Saudi University Sports Federation Championship. The tournament was hosted by Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam from March 5 to 8, 2025. With the support of the Deanship of Student Affairs, the team delivered an outstanding performance amidst strong competition, reaffirming the university’s commitment to developing athletic talents and fostering participation in national championships.

The Ajawid International Futsal Cup for international students at King Khalid University has officially commenced as part of the “Ajawid Global Values” initiative under the Ajawid 3 program. Organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Student Services Agency - Student Housing Department, the tournament has witnessed notable sporting and cultural interactions among the participating teams. It aims to foster sportsmanship, cultural exchange, and engagement among international students in a dynamic and competitive environment.

As part of the 10th Sports Olympiad and the Ajawid 3 initiative, the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Student Activities Agency, concluded the “Taekwondo” championship with the participation of several university students at the Abha Sports Club. The championship witnessed intense competition, with participants displaying high skills and exemplary sportsmanship. At the end of the event, the students who secured the top positions were crowned, in recognition of their outstanding performance in the sport.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Student Activities Agency, concluded the “Padel” championship as part of the 10th Sports Olympiad and the Ajawid 3 initiative. The event saw the participation of 24 teams and 48 players from the university, held at Padel Abha. The championship was marked by an exciting and competitive atmosphere, with the students who secured the top positions being honored at the conclusion of the event, in celebration and recognition of their outstanding sportsmanship and efforts.

The championship opened with a briefing on the key rules of the game and arbitration guidelines. The competitions began with female students from various colleges competing in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. At the conclusion of the event, the winners in the top positions were honored, accompanied by great support and cheering from the audience. This championship reflects the university’s commitment to promoting sports activities that enhance students’ skills and foster a spirit of fair competition.

The “Ajawid Global Values” event for international students at King Khalid University was launched, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Student Services Agency - Student Housing Department. The event includes a football championship and cultural programs, with the participation of students from 16 countries. The aim is to enhance cultural exchange and interaction among students from different nationalities, creating a distinctive educational environment based on shared global values.
