The Deanship of Student Affairs, through the Vice Deanship for Female Student Affairs and under the supervision of the Saudi Federation for University Sports, organized the “Exchange Sports Event” on Wednesday, 16/4/1447 AH, at the sports hall in Al-Faraa.

This event comes as part of the federation’s exchange activities, where volleyball matches were held between female students from King Khalid University and Taif University, with a total of 28 players participating.

The event was marked by enthusiasm and strong support from the audience, and it concluded with the distribution of commemorative gifts to the participating students.

The King Khalid University women’s basketball team, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs and represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Student Affairs, participated in a sports basketball match held in the city of Taif and hosted by Taif University on 23/4/1447 AH.

The match concluded with a victory for Taif University’s team, with a score of 22–15, and 10 female students from King Khalid University took part in the event.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Students, organized an E-Games Basketball Championship for female students, featuring energetic competitions marked by sportsmanship and fair play. The event concluded with honoring the top winners: Lama Fayea (Gold), Nada Dhafer (Silver), and Joud Al-Qahtani (Bronze), reflecting the deanship’s commitment to supporting digital sports activities and enhancing students’ skills.

The Alumni Unit at King Khalid University achieved several milestones this week, including enabling four graduates to join training programs, contacting 58 graduates to update their information and enhance employability, enrolling over 250 graduates in the “Taqat” employment system of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF “Hadaf”), and posting 22 job announcements to expand career opportunities for alumni.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Training and Student Exchange Unit in collaboration with Basmah Community Service Company “Mutqin”, conducted the “Balance Your Life” training workshop, led by Dr. Nasser Al-Thabit. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ balance across personal, academic, and professional aspects, improving their academic and professional life quality and developing effective time and resource management skills.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Talent and Creativity Unit, conducted an online training course titled “Discovering and Developing Talents: From Recognition to Empowerment” via ZOOM, led by Dr. Waleed Al-Waleedi. Targeting students and faculty members both inside and outside the university, the course attracted nearly 90 participants and aimed to help them identify and develop their creative abilities, enhancing personal and academic skills and promoting a culture of innovation on campus.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Nutrition Department, announced the launch of a meal booking service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner via the Muhtam online platform, which enables students to reserve their meals a day in advance through a dedicated link, helping streamline meal distribution and enhance the student experience on campus.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship’s Female Students Affairs Agency, organised a billiards championship for female students, conducted by trainer Noha Al-Shahri, who explained the game rules. The event featured exciting competitions among participants and concluded with awarding the top winners, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Training and Student Exchange Unit, organised the “Human Software” workshop at Al-Quraiger University City, conducted by trainer Alhanoof Maalawi. Targeting female students and graduates, the workshop aimed to enhance leadership skills, develop personal and professional capacities, and enable participants to apply effective leadership concepts in their academic and professional lives.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, won the silver award in the universities and academic sector category of the 2025 national campaign “Early Detection is Better” for breast cancer awareness, under the patronage and presence of HRH Princess Haifa bint Faisal Al Saud, Chair of Zahra Breast Cancer Association. The achievement highlights the university’s efforts to promote health awareness and support national initiatives empowering women and safeguarding their health.
