The Alumni Unit at King Khalid University achieved significant weekly milestones by empowering over 320 graduates through the Taqat platform, updating records for 72 graduates, and enrolling two in training programs. The unit also organized the eighth developmental meeting in collaboration with the General Organization for Social Insurance, featuring an “Insurance Awareness” workshop to enhance graduates’ understanding of social insurance, highlighting the importance of professional skill development and early career planning. These efforts reflect the unit’s commitment to expanding employment opportunities and empowering graduates in the labor market.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Students, organized a paddle tennis championship for female students at King Khalid University. The event began with an explanation by Trainer Amal Al-Shahrani on the key rules of the game, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship. The championship matches then took place in an enthusiastic atmosphere with audience support and concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the top-ranking students, reflecting the deanship’s commitment to developing athletic skills and promoting positive competition among students.

Students from King Khalid University participated as part of the Saudi Arabian Taekwondo National Team in the Qatar International Taekwondo Championship, organized by the Qatari Taekwondo, Judo, and Karate Federation at Lusail Hall, with 1,361 participants, including 1,021 athletes and 289 technical and administrative staff, representing 175 clubs and national federations from 48 countries, from November 14–17, 2025. The university’s students achieved remarkable results: Abdulrahman Al-Shahrani from the College of Business secured second place and a silver medal in the 54 kg category, while Mohammed Madawi from the College of Computer Science earned third place and a bronze medal. The Deanship of Student Affairs congratulates the winning students and wishes them continued success and future achievements.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Students and in collaboration with Abha Club, organized a karate championship for female students at King Khalid University, featuring competitions across five weight categories. The championship concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the top-ranking students, reflecting the deanship’s efforts to provide competitive opportunities, develop students’ skills, and foster sportsmanship and discipline within a supportive educational environment.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center and in collaboration with the Applied College in Mahayel, launched the “We Are With You” program for academically struggling students, presented by Mr. Saeed Dhwaifer Al-Fard. The program included group and individual counseling sessions designed to introduce students to methods for improving academic performance, effective time management, and strategies to overcome study challenges, enhancing their ability to succeed and achieve optimal academic results.

His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, attended the conclusion of the University Staff Futsal Championship, organized by the Human Resources Department and the Deanship of Student Affairs. The competition concluded with the Facilities Management Department winning the championship and first place, the Human Resources Department securing second place, and the Deanship of Student Affairs taking third place. The event was held with enthusiastic attendance and support from university staff and team supporters, creating an atmosphere of excitement and positive sportsmanship.

The General Administration for International Students at King Khalid University, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center, and several university entities, conducted a series of workshops addressing health, academic, and psychological aspects for international students, as part of the International Students’ Day 2025 activities. This initiative aims to support and empower students, enhance their educational and university experience, and provide specialized programs that address their diverse needs, facilitating integration and improving the quality of their academic journey.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Students, organized the “Sports Challenges” event, which hosted the 22nd Intermediate School as part of initiatives aimed at promoting student participation in sports and enhancing athletic skills. The event began with a training session delivered by Trainer Noha Al-Shahri on the fundamentals of volleyball, covering technical and tactical skills that support performance development. Following the workshop, a friendly match was held between female students from King Khalid University and the 22nd Intermediate School, amidst an enthusiastic atmosphere and strong attendance that reflected sportsmanship and positive competition.

The Media Club and the Central International Students Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs collaborated in producing a special video for International Students’ Day 2025, showcasing the remarkable cultural diversity at King Khalid University, where the student community represents more than 100 nationalities. The film highlighted the spirit of connection and mutual understanding among international students, who share common academic aspirations despite their varied backgrounds, all within a supportive and inspiring university environment.

The “From Idea to Product” Innovation Camp kicked off at Batterjee Medical Colleges with the participation of King Khalid University as a knowledge partner, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The university’s contribution includes delivering specialized workshops, organizing a field visit to the “Shop Floor” facility, and offering mentorship and consultations to students in the advanced stages of the camp—enhancing opportunities for innovation and supporting the development of practical skills.
