the Corporate Communication Club, in collaboration with the Marketing Communication Department, organized an informative campaign for male and female students. The campaign aimed to introduce students to the special offers and discounts available to them from various providers. The event took place at the Far’aa campus for male students and at the Qreeqar campus for female students.

The campaign witnessed a large turnout from both male and female students. During the event, the offers platform was showcased, and attendees were given a detailed explanation of how to benefit from the available discounts, making it easier for them to understand the process of accessing the offered deals.

Engineering College Club Organizes “Joint Cultural Olympiad” in Collaboration with Law and Shariah College Clubs

The Engineering College Club, in collaboration with the Law and Shariah College Clubs, organized the “Joint Cultural Olympiad” competition on Thursday, 7th of Rabi’ al-Thani, 1446 AH, held at the Shariah College theater. The competition started with the participation of 8 teams representing the three colleges, following a knockout system, which added excitement and challenge to the event. The questions spanned five different categories, covering diverse cultural and scientific topics, aimed at fostering teamwork and highlighting the participants’ knowledge and general awareness.

The competition was fierce, with multiple rounds as the teams advanced through the stages. In the end, the Law College team emerged victorious, securing first place with an impressive performance and quick responses. The Engineering College team came in second after a strong effort. The event was well-attended by students who enthusiastically supported their teams, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. This competition provided an excellent opportunity for inter-college collaboration and encouraged students to expand their knowledge in a fun and competitive environment.

Applied College Club in Rijal Alma Organizes Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Translation

The Applied College Club in Rijal Alma, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Section), organized a seminar on artificial intelligence in the field of translation on Wednesday, 6th of Rabi’ al-Thani 1446 AH, held at the college’s theater. The program was presented by Dr. Ishraqa Mohammed Abdullah Othman, Assistant Professor at the Applied College in Mahayel, with a presentation by student Maria Mohammed Ali Abu Abad Asiri about AI and its applications in translation, and how students can benefit from these tools and websites. The event also featured a competitive quiz on AI among the students, with symbolic gifts distributed in an atmosphere of scientific enrichment. Pamphlets highlighting the most important AI-powered translation websites were also handed out.

“Skills in Dealing with Children in Dentistry” Event Organized by the Female Section of the College of Dentistry

The Female Section of the College of Dentistry Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized an event titled “Skills in Dealing with Children in Dentistry” on Tuesday, 5 Rabi’ al-Thani 1446 AH, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Al-Sarhan Elementary School.

Approximately 40 students and several faculty members participated in the event. The main objective was to equip students with essential skills for interacting with children in dental clinics through non-pharmacological methods. The focus was on understanding children’s behavior, reducing their fear of dentists, conducting clinical diagnoses, creating proper treatment plans, and referring cases to specialized departments. The event also aimed to educate children on the importance of dental hygiene and encourage them to maintain healthy teeth through various motivational techniques.


The program featured several segments, including an educational presentation for children, a theatrical performance, contests and games, teacher awareness sessions, gift distributions, dental hygiene awareness, “Try Being a Dentist” activities, dental checkups, and a photography session to conclude the event.

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized a scientific seminar titled “Introduction to Rhetoric” as part of the “Introduction to Arabic Language Sciences” program. The seminar was held on Monday, 5 Rabi’ al-Thani 1446 AH, in the college’s ground floor auditorium.

The guest speaker, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Noumah, discussed the significance of rhetoric and its place among the Arabic language sciences. He also explored the history and development of rhetoric over time, highlighting its critical role in analyzing literary and religious texts with precision and beauty.

The seminar attracted notable attendance from students and faculty members, who engaged with the lecture and benefited from Dr. Al-Noumah’s insightful explanations.

The College of Languages and Translation Club held the “Translation Project” competition under the supervision of the Head of the Translation Department, Dr. Issa Asiri. The competition aimed to enhance students’ translation skills through quick challenges that involved translating idiomatic expressions within a limited time frame.

Participants were evaluated based on the accuracy and quality of their translations, and monetary prizes were awarded to the top five winners, encouraging them to further develop their skills and gain valuable experience in the field of translation.
