The Applied College Club in Saraa Abidah, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, a program titled “Step Towards the Future”, which included a visit to Almarai Company’s Southern Region headquarters. The program aimed to connect academic learning with practical experience, allowing students to explore the work environment and visit several departments, including Human Resources, Supply Chains, Quality, and Marketing, to learn about operational procedures and modern management strategies, enhancing their readiness for the job market, with the participation of 22 students.

The Applied College Club in Tanomah, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs Agency for Student Activities, organized on Monday, October 21, 2025, a program titled “The Role of Training and Development in Human Resources Management” targeting the college students. The program highlighted the importance of training as a key factor in enhancing employee performance within institutions aiming for growth and sustainability, emphasizing that training extends to improving efficiency, building capacities, and preparing for evolving challenges in the workplace. The session was attended by 45 students alongside several faculty members who contributed comments and advice, adding practical and academic value to the program.

The Applied College Club in Tanomah, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs Agency, concluded the “Al-Seifain and Al-Nakhla” football tournament on Monday, October 20, 2025, which started the previous week. The tournament aimed to enhance students’ physical and social skills, encourage fair competition, foster sportsmanship, and discover and nurture athletic talents. Three teams participated: Green Falcons, Blue Wave, and Eagles, with the final match between Green Falcons and Blue Wave ending in a 4:3 victory for the Green Falcons, marking an exciting conclusion to the tournament.

The Central Media Club, affiliated with the Deanship of Student Affairs, held a training session titled “Leadership Communication” on Monday, October 17, 2025, as part of the Communication Empowerment Camp 5, presented by Dr. Hamed Saleh Al-Qahtani, Dean of the Deanship of E-Services. The session aimed to explain leadership communication, its role in building influential leadership, and enhancing effective and positive communication skills. Dr. Al-Qahtani emphasized the ethical and human aspects of communication, highlighting that a true communication leader combines professional competence with the ability to inspire and motivate. The session also reviewed successful leadership models and strategies to improve listening and decision-making skills within teams, concluding that leadership communication is the core of modern leadership and a key tool for building trust and achieving positive impact in work environments.

The Central Arts Club, in partnership with the Architecture and Planning Club and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, hosted the “Arts and Architecture Biennale” on Thursday, October 16 and 19, 2025, at the University Museum, King Khalid University. The event aimed to highlight architectural beauty and document artistic moments by integrating art with design, showcasing students’ works and creativity in architecture and visual arts. Students presented a variety of works including architectural designs, paintings, and models reflecting the stages of creative thinking and formation, while the Central Arts Club coordinated the visual display to create an integrated artistic scene combining art and architecture. The event witnessed distinguished attendance from faculty members, students, and visitors, receiving wide engagement due to its diversity and creativity, offering an artistic and educational platform that reflects the students’ talent, creativity, and academic excellence.

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club hosted an initiative on Sunday, October 19, 2025, titled “How to Prevent Oral Diseases and Maintain Proper Dental Care”, benefiting approximately 200 college staff and students, aiming to raise health awareness and promote proper oral hygiene practices.

The Central Entrepreneurship Club organized the “Sector Lab” camp on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Central Library in Al-Faraa for female students. The first day focused on theoretical discussions covering design thinking and its importance, the difference between innovation and invention, and creative confidence, with participants divided into five groups. The theoretical sessions continue on Monday and Tuesday, followed by practical application on Wednesday and Thursday, aiming to strengthen students’ innovative thinking and teamwork skills.

The Central Science Ambassadors Club, in cooperation with the Creativity Club and the Central Entrepreneurship Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs, King Khalid University, organized a workshop titled “Creative Solutions Through Design Thinking” on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Qureegar – Code Lab, presented by Dr. Naif Jabli. The workshop addressed the concept of design thinking and its role in creating solutions while providing practical methods to enhance innovative thinking skills. It included discussions, hands-on activities, and a book presentation of “Thinking Outside the Box”, effectively strengthening analytical and creative skills and fostering a university environment supportive of innovative ideas and initiatives.

The Mahail Asir Applied Medical Sciences College Club, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs Agency, organized an awareness event on Thursday, October 16, 2025, titled “World Anesthesia Day”, aiming to raise students’ awareness of the importance of the anesthesia specialty and the role of anesthesiologists in ensuring patient safety during surgeries. The event included a presentation on the evolution and types of anesthesia, a simplified explanation of anesthesia equipment and devices, and a tour of the department’s laboratories to explore simulation rooms representing operating theaters, intensive care, recovery, and preoperative assessment, providing students with a practical and realistic understanding of the medical work environment.

The International Students Club, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs Agency, organized the “Recitation of Nations” event at the Student Housing Mosque on Friday, October 17, 2025, featuring students from 18 different nationalities. The event spanned six days, with the first five days dedicated to preliminary rounds to select the top reciters, followed by the final round on Friday, which witnessed outstanding participation and engagement. The competition concluded with honoring the winners and awarding prizes, recognizing their excellence in Quran recitation and reflecting the cultural diversity and constructive competitive spirit among the students.
