Pharmacy College Club’s Enriching Visit to the Central Library
On November 3, the Pharmacy College Club at King Khalid University organized an enriching visit to the Central Library to increase top students’ awareness of available research resources. The visit included a warm welcome by the library team, an orientation tour of library services, and interactive workshops on using digital databases, encouraging students to make the most of the resources to enhance their research skills.

Volunteer Work Club Organizes Awareness Lecture on Managing Obesity
The Volunteer Work Club at King Khalid University’s Deanship of Student Affairs held an awareness lecture titled “How to Deal with Obesity?” led by Dr. Najla Bazan from the College of Pharmacy. The lecture covered the concept, causes, and health risks of obesity, along with principles of healthy nutrition and effective management strategies. The session, which included individual consultations with Dr. Bazan, was held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, and attracted 150 attendees from the university community.

The College of Medicine Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a workshop titled “How to Write & Build a CV” as part of the “How to Be a Professional Doctor?” program. Led by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahri and Dr. Mohammed Al-Maghrabi, the workshop focused on essential elements of CV writing. It was held at Abha Private International Hospital on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

The College of Medicine Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, conducted a workshop titled “How to Write a Professional CV” on Sunday, 01/05/1446 H, at the Abha Private Hospital Theater. Led by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahri and Dr. Mohammed Al-Maghrabi, the workshop trained over 100 students on professional CV writing skills, enhancing their job application prospects.

The Applied College Club Celebrates “World Accounting Day” with an Interactive Program
The Applied College Club in Abha, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, held a celebratory event for “World Accounting Day” on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the college theater. The program aimed to encourage accounting students to exchange experiences, explore career opportunities, learn about professional certifications from the Saudi Organization for Accountants, and build pre-graduation professional networks. The event included interactive competitions with prizes for winners.
