The College of Education hosted a seminar titled “Applications of AI in Psychological Counseling” on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, corresponding to 22 Rabi’ al-Thani 1446 AH, presented by Dr. Nabil Sufyan. The seminar covered key topics, including AI’s role in diagnosing mental disorders like depression and anxiety, and virtual psychotherapy applications. Faculty members and students from the College of Education attended the event.

The College of Medicine Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Pharmacy Clubs, organized the “Be Aware” mental health awareness event on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Khamis Mushait Boulevard. Dr. Maha Amoudi and Dr. Waddah Al-Amma’ei provided interactive psychological consultations on topics like common mental illnesses, social stigma, proper use of psychiatric medications, and addiction treatment. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health.

The College of Nursing Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and King Khalid High School in Khamis Mushait, organized an awareness event titled “First Aid” on Tuesday, 3/5/1446 H. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of first aid and equip participants with essential emergency response skills.

The Applied College Club in Mahayel Asir, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, successfully concluded the “From Idea to Project” event on Tuesday, 3rd Jumada Al-Awwal 1446. Students practiced key skills in management, e-assessment submission, and preparation for English licensing exams. We thank all contributors and look forward to future programs empowering students toward greater achievements.

The Entrepreneurship Club, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Agency for Student Activities, held a workshop titled “Project Management” via Zoom on November 4. The intensive training session covered project management fundamentals and skills, including the responsibilities of a project manager, key management processes, and the importance of meeting objectives, ensuring quality, and adhering to timelines and budgets. The session concluded with thanks to the attendees and a reaffirmation of the workshop’s goals.

The Applied College Club held the “CEO Cup” football tournament, with eight teams of 10 students each representing various college specializations. After intense competition, the Marketing and Business Administration teams reached the final, held on Monday, 2 Jumada al-Awwal 1446 AH, where Marketing won 3-2. The Assistant CEO awarded the winning team with gold medals and the runners-up with silver medals, along with trophies for the top scorer, best goalkeeper, and best player.

The Applied College Club in Rijal Alma celebrated World Tourism Day under the theme “Discover the Beauty of Saudi Arabia,” aiming to promote “Tourism Project Management” and encourage students toward tourism careers. The event featured cultural presentations and creative projects, with significant attendance from local officials and guests.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, represented by the Central Volunteer Club, organized a workshop titled “Volunteer Impact: How Can You Make a Difference?” presented by Dr. Hanem Ahmed Abdelkhaleq on Wednesday, 4 Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH. The workshop covered essential principles of volunteer work and key skills for volunteers, and showcased exemplary volunteer initiatives by the College of Nursing in Muhayil Asir. The session lasted an hour, with over 100 university affiliates in attendance.
