The College of Medicine Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Pharmacy Clubs, organized the “Be Aware” mental health awareness event on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Khamis Mushait Boulevard. Dr. Maha Amoudi and Dr. Waddah Al-Amma’ei provided interactive psychological consultations on topics like common mental illnesses, social stigma, proper use of psychiatric medications, and addiction treatment. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health.

The Entrepreneurship Club, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Agency for Student Activities, held a workshop titled “Project Management” via Zoom on November 4. The intensive training session covered project management fundamentals and skills, including the responsibilities of a project manager, key management processes, and the importance of meeting objectives, ensuring quality, and adhering to timelines and budgets. The session concluded with thanks to the attendees and a reaffirmation of the workshop’s goals.

Applied College Club Organizes “CEO Cup” Football Tournament

The Applied College Club held the “CEO Cup” football tournament, with eight teams of 10 students each representing various college specializations. After intense competition, the Marketing and Business Administration teams reached the final, held on Monday, 2 Jumada al-Awwal 1446 AH, where Marketing won 3-2. The Assistant CEO awarded the winning team with gold medals and the runners-up with silver medals, along with trophies for the top scorer, best goalkeeper, and best player.

The workshop covered essential principles of volunteer work and key skills for volunteers, and showcased exemplary volunteer initiatives by the College of Nursing in Muhayil Asir. The session lasted an hour, with over 100 university affiliates in attendance.
