The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Center - Disability Support Unit, organized a cultural and recreational trip for King Khalid University students with disabilities to Jeddah. The trip aimed to explore Jeddah’s cultural and entertainment landmarks, including a visit to the Disability Support Center at King Abdulaziz University, as well as an immersive experience in Historic Jeddah and other recreational sites, fostering community engagement and cultural participation.

The King Khalid University Women’s Basketball Team, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Students’ Affairs Division), participated in the Women’s Basketball Championship, part of the 15th Season of the Saudi University Sports Federation.

The tournament took place at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah from January 22 to 25, 2025, featuring intense competition among university teams.

The King Khalid University football team, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, played its second match in the Football League (A), organized by the Saudi University Sports Federation.

The match took place at the Jazan Education Department Stadium, where the team faced Jazan University.

The game ended in an exciting 2-2 draw, showcasing the high level of competition among participating teams.

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef Al-Benyan, Ziyad Asiri, a student at King Khalid University, secured second place in the KASAO Innovation Award - Innovation Exhibition Competition, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

His innovation, “Air Medical Station,” earned recognition during the 5th Health Innovation Hackathon, hosted by King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, where top innovators in the healthcare sector competed.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Students, organized the “Billiards Championship for Female Students” on January 21-22. Trainer Noha Al-Shehri explained the rules and emphasized sportsmanship.

The event featured strong competition among King Khalid University students, concluding with Ms. Hanan Al-Asiri, Director of Sports Activities, awarding gold medals to the top winners.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University participated in the “International Anti-Corruption Conference” held in Riyadh with a group of students. The event included visits to several booths, such as the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), the Board of Grievances, the General Court of Audit, the Public Prosecution, and the Ministry of Finance. This participation aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of integrity and the role of national institutions in combating corruption, while fostering a sense of social responsibility among them.

The Vice President of King Khalid University for Educational Affairs, Prof. Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajim, attended the event for the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities” organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The event featured a variety of programs and awareness exhibitions, with the participation of several internal and external organizations, aimed at raising awareness about the issues and rights of persons with disabilities.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, through its Agency for Female Student Affairs, organized a three-day badminton championship for female students at King Khalid University. The tournament featured singles and doubles matches with participation from over 40 students. Gold medals were awarded to the winners from various colleges at the conclusion of the event.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Agency for Female Student Affairs, organized a lecture titled “Why Do We Practice Pilates?” with the attendance of several university students. The lecture was presented by trainer Amal Al-Shahrani, who began by discussing the importance of Pilates and its long-term benefits on health. In the second part of the session, a practical demonstration of exercises was conducted with the students to show how to properly practice the sport.

The Sports Administration at the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students organized an archery championship, attended by Vice Dean Dr. Areej Al-Buheir. The event saw active participation, with Sarah Jerman winning first place, followed by Mithaqq Al-Dawwas and Shatha Al-Farhan in second and third places.
