University President Attends Freshmen Welcome Ceremony for the Academic Year 1444H
In the presence of His Excellency, Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, the President of King Khalid University, the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a welcome ceremony for the new freshmen under the slogan "Hayaakum" (Welcome) at the sports hall in Al-Qaraa.
The ceremony aimed to introduce the new students to the various services offered by their university, with the participation of several deanships and centers.
The event began with an introductory tour of the participating exhibitions.
Afterward, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Mesfer Al-Qahtani, welcomed the new students, expressing that the deanship is dedicated to serving the university students in all aspects and fields. He also extended his gratitude to His Excellency, the university president, for his continuous support of the deanship.
A representative from the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), Mr. Mohammed Al-Haroubi, then delivered a speech about the fund's role in supporting university students from the beginning of their academic journey, striving to provide all the necessary requirements and services to university students.
Following that, the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Qarni, emphasized the importance of the university students' dedication to their academic achievement from the beginning of their academic journey. He also highlighted the services provided by the deanship, emphasizing that the university and the student are a unified entity.
Next, His Excellency, Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, the university president, addressed the new freshmen, welcoming them and wishing them success in serving their religion, country, and king. He stated that the current academic year will be exceptional, as it witnesses three academic semesters. He also expressed his gratitude to all the parties involved in making this ceremony successful.
Finally, His Excellency honored the sponsoring companies of this event, namely Almarai Company, Gulf Training and Education Company, and Ibn Rushd Optics Company.
