King Khalid University Wins Four Medals in the Gulf Athletics Championship

With the support of the Deanship of Student Affairs, the King Khalid University Athletics Team won four medals in the 10th Gulf Sports Championship for University Students, held at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman from January 18 to January 24, 2025. The championship featured 17 universities and over 400 athletes from across the Gulf region. Student Abdullah Al-Qahtani secured two bronze medals in the 800m and 1500m races, while student Hashimi Al-Khathami won a silver medal in the 400m race and a bronze medal in the 200m race. Additionally, the university’s basketball team delivered a strong performance, finishing fifth place in the overall university rankings.
