The Student Affairs Deanship, represented by the Deanship of Student Activities and the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a workshop on “Training and Qualifying Supervisors and Leaders of Student Clubs” at the university.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Saad Al-Qahtani, Vice Dean for Student Activities, and Dr. Areej Al-Bahir, Vice Dean for Female Students Affairs.

The workshop was attended by more than 85 participants, where student club operation mechanisms, key evaluation criteria, and ways to enhance the effectiveness of student clubs were discussed, along with answers to the attendees’ questions and inputs.

The Student Fund Board, chaired by Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, Dean of Student Affairs, held its first meeting for the year 2025. During the meeting, 18 topics were discussed, aimed at enhancing student participation and providing support to various departments and faculties, contributing to serving the students of King Khalid University.

The King Khalid University team, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship’s Agency for Female Student Affairs, participated in the “Badminton Championship for Female Students”, part of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Championship for the 15th season, held at Effat University in Jeddah from January 15 to 18, 2025.

The “Journey of Passion” program was launched at the Central Library at Al-Fara’a, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Training and Exchange Unit, in collaboration with Mutqan. The initiative witnessed an outstanding presence of King Khalid University students.

The program aims to discover and transform passion into a real-life project, guiding participants on how to harness their passion to achieve both professional and personal goals.

In the presence of the esteemed Dean of Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, the “Amad” program for King Khalid University students was launched today. The program is organized by the Deanship in collaboration with Alinma Bank from January 19 to 21, 1446H, at the Museum in the Conference Hall at Al-Fara’a.

The program aims to provide in-depth projects on financial issues, saving, debt and loan management, and budget preparation, as well as helping students understand the importance of financial planning and raising awareness among them.

Supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, the King Khalid University team achieved third place among the participating Saudi universities in the 2025 Debating League, organized by the Ministry of Sports in Riyadh from January 15 to 18, 2025. This achievement was made possible with the participation of 20 universities and 80 participants.

The King Khalid University team, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, participated in the Saudi Universities Table Tennis Championship, hosted by Jazan University from January 15 to 18, 2025, with the participation of 30 universities and colleges.The team secured 8th place in the competition.

As part of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between students in universities and higher education institutions within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, King Khalid University, supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, participated with a delegation of female students in the 9th Student Advisory Council for these universities, which was held yesterday at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Training and Exchange Unit, in collaboration with Basamh Community Service Program (@mutqen), organized the “Farq (Draw Your Path)” program for newly admitted students at King Khalid University. The program, presented by Prof. Naif Jabali, was attended by more than 40 students.

This program aims to enhance students’ understanding of different professional personalities, help them identify their career personality type, and apply professional standards to select the most suitable major.

Additionally, it highlights the importance of choosing a major and its connection to influence and success. The event was held at the Conferences and Exhibitions Building in Al-Faraa.

With the support of the Deanship of Student Affairs, King Khalid University participated in the 3rd International Scout Forum for Youth Empowerment, held in Kuwait under the theme “Leadership and Influence” from January 11 to January 17, 2025. The forum featured training courses, cultural programs, and developmental activities designed to enhance youth leadership and influence skills. The event concluded with a ceremony honoring participants for their contributions.
