The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Vice Deanship for Female Students’ Affairs, organized the Chess Championship on Sunday and Monday, 14–15 September 2025 with broad participation from King Khalid University female students. The event opened with an introduction to the basic rules by Coach Amal, followed by engaging matches attended by a large audience. At the closing ceremony, Mrs. Hanan Al-Asiri, Director of the Sports Department, honored the winners: Bayan Mohammed Al-Shahri in first place, Bashayer Abdullah Al-Shahrani in second place, and Nuseibah Fahd in third place.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University, attended by Dean Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, the Deputy Dean, and the Vice Dean for Student Activities, organized a series of specialized workshops for student club supervisors and leaders. The two-day workshops covered communications, technical skills, volunteer work, financial management, and the final student clubs evaluation form, with participation exceeding 100 attendees.

The Student Care and Counseling Center under the Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with Ahad Rufaidah Technical College, organized an awareness lecture titled Drugs and Psychoactive Substances: Their Psychological and Social Impact on University Students. The lecture was presented by Guidance Specialist Saeed Zwaifer Al-Fard and Nursing Technician Aayed Saeed Al-Shahrani, as part of the center’s programs aimed at promoting student awareness and education at the university.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Activities Agency – Sports Activities Department, organized the Table Tennis Challenges championship with broad participation from university students. The competition concluded with Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al-Wadaei from the College of Computer Science winning first place, and Saud bin Awad Al-Wadaei from the College of Business securing second place.

The Applied Medical Sciences Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the Student Health event on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, attended by the College Dean, faculty members, and students. The event aimed to promote holistic student well-being through lectures on nutrition, physical activity, and sleep, alongside workshops on stress management and self-confidence. An educational exhibition offering preliminary medical check-ups was also held. The initiative received positive interaction and helped foster a stronger health-conscious culture within the university community.

The Applied College Club in Dhahran Al-Janoub, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship for Female Students’ Affairs, organized an Administrative Decision-Making Simulation on Sunday, 14 September 2025. The event aimed to develop students’ critical thinking, decision-making, and teamwork skills.

The College of Nursing Female Students Club in Abha organized on Monday, September 15, 2025, the event “Psychological Immunity as a Shield for Students,” aimed at raising students’ awareness of mental health as a fundamental line of defense against life and academic pressures. The program included an educational lecture, interactive activities, and distribution of informative brochures to encourage psychological resilience and self-confidence, receiving notable engagement from the students.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences Club (Department of Rehabilitation Sciences), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, under the supervision of Dr. Ghada Qoura and in partnership with Dar Al-Bayan for Women, organized on Monday, September 15, 2025, the “Balance First” program as part of the 2025 Physical Therapy initiative. The program benefited visitors of Dar Al-Bayan, including seniors and staff, providing educational and practical content focused on enhancing balance and overall health through modern physical therapy methods.

The College of Applied Sciences Club in Sarat Abidah organized on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the program “Innovation in the Digital Economy,” presented by Dr. Muhammad Al-Hwaiti. The program aimed to introduce Business Administration students to the concept of the digital economy and its role in global transformation while enhancing their innovative thinking to develop practical digital solutions. Practical examples of digital business models, including e-commerce, platforms, and applications, were presented.
