The Deanship of Student Affairs, through its Vice Deanship for Female Student Affairs, organized a badminton tournament from Sunday to Tuesday, May 4-6, 1447 AH (corresponding to May 4-6, 2026). The tournament aimed to provide female students with an opportunity to compete, develop their skills, and promote sports culture. The tournament included singles and doubles matches, characterized by a high level of play and competitive matches. The winners were honored.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Tourism and Hospitality, implemented a lecture entitled “Leadership in Tourism and Hospitality,” presented by Mr. Salem Al-Shahrani, Advisor to the Shura Council and Supervisor of the Makkah Hotels Group, holding a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management. The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the importance of leadership in developing the tourism and hospitality sector, develop their leadership skills, and connect academic learning with practical professional experience. The session included a scientific and practical discussion of leadership concepts, explored the skills of a successful leader, featured an interactive dialogue enriching students with practical experiences and valuable professional advice, and concluded with attendees expressing appreciation for the lecturer and his contribution to knowledge enrichment.

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Student Care and Counseling Unit at the College of Architecture and Planning, implemented an awareness seminar on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, entitled “Your Mental Health Comes First,” presented by Dr. Mujeeb Al-Rahman Abu Amer and Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Odeh, in the presence of Dr. Saleh Humaid Al-Salmi. The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of mental health in the academic environment and equip them with skills to manage academic pressures, achieve psychological balance, and succeed academically. The seminar witnessed active participation from attendees and concluded with an open discussion that allowed the exchange of experiences and answers to students’ inquiries.
