The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club organized a visit to the Administrative Court in Abha on Wednesday, November 20th. The visit was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Qarni, the Club Supervisor, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, and several students. The visit included a meeting with the President of the Court, an introduction to litigation systems and procedures, and attendance at several court sessions, providing students with practical insights into the judicial field.
Under the patronage of the President of King Khalid University, the Vice President launched the “Take Care of Your Heart Health” event at the Central Library on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, organized by the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait (Male and Female Sections). The event included an awareness exhibition on heart diseases and preventive measures, along with an introduction to the nursing profession for library visitors in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs.
The Applied College Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Guidance and Counseling Unit, organized a program titled “The Easiest Way to IELTS Strategies” on Wednesday, (20/11/2024), from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring Dr. Mohamed El-Adawy. The program aimed to prepare students for the job market by training them in practical IELTS strategies. It included interactive applications and competitions among the students. At the end of the event, five outstanding students were honored.
The Nazaha Central Club organized an awareness campaign titled “Together for Justice and Integrity” on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of integrity in various fields, including academia, emphasizing the need to uphold integrity in academic work. It also addressed several common corruption crimes, such as bribery, abuse of power, misuse of authority, embezzlement, and tax evasion, providing detailed explanations of each crime and its negative impact on society.
In partnership with the Medical Consultation Center at the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Applied Medical Sciences Club in Al-Faraa, in collaboration with the Deanship’s Student Activities Agency, organized an awareness activity titled “Quit Smoking” on Tuesday morning, November 19, 2024, at the main lobby of the college.
The Central Arts Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, held a ceremony on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, to unveil the “Distinguished Mural”, a project completed after two months of dedicated effort and creativity. The event was attended by notable figures, including the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Qahtani, and the President of Central Clubs, Mr. Amjad Hassan Assiri. The mural was praised as a remarkable achievement that reflects the club’s creativity and innovation, highlighting its role in promoting artistic culture and inspiration within the university.
The Applied College Club in Tanuma organized a program titled “Practical Solutions for Everyday Situations” on Tuesday, November 19th. The program aimed to help students learn and apply modern vocabulary in real-life scenarios through interactive exercises and role-playing in realistic settings. It also focused on building students’ confidence and enhancing their cognitive and social skills.
