Ruba Al-Mashjari: I Have Won Several Local Awards and Two Awards at the Saudi University Level
I am proud to have won several awards at King Khalid University. Among these achievements, I won awards in the Cultural Olympiad three times: fourth place in the Sixth Cultural Olympiad, first place in Fine Art Painting at the Seventh Cultural Olympiad, and first place in Fine Art Painting at the Eighth Cultural Olympiad.
I also won top places in Fine Art Painting in the Founding Day competitions for two consecutive years.
In addition, I am a member of the first women’s volleyball team to represent King Khalid University in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Championship held in Riyadh.
I have also been regularly nominated by the Deanship to participate in visits and accompany university delegations in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal Al Saud.
At the level of Saudi universities, I won two awards in competitions organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation: first place in “Volunteer Initiatives in University Sports” and third place in “World Diabetes Day Awareness.”
The Deanship of Student Affairs, after God’s grace, has played an important role in supporting my journey. It continuously shared participation opportunities with me through Twitter and has always been keen to serve as a link between students and competitions that contribute to enhancing the University’s reputation. The Deanship also provides financial rewards to students who win competitions as a means of encouragement and motivation.
Furthermore, the Deanship has been a key source of support through its continuous communication with students who have demonstrated excellence, encouraging them to persevere and continue their achievements. It also nominates them for interviews and training programs organized by the Municipality of the Asir Region to further develop their skills.
The Deanship is also committed to sharing opportunities relevant to male and female students and preparing them in advance for participation through appropriate training, as was the case with the volleyball championship.
