Nawal Al-Shahri: I developed a passion for public speaking and theater, considering the Arabic language and poetry as my closest and dearest friends
I completed my studies at King Khalid University, majoring in Arabic language. The word "talent" resonated with me since elementary school, and I wondered about the talent bestowed upon me.
I loved public speaking and theater, and I considered the Arabic language, poetry, eloquence, and writing as my closest and most cherished companions, accompanying me throughout my educational journey. Initially, I couldn't pinpoint my specific talent; I was referred to as a multi-talented girl, not focusing on one particular gift.
As the years passed, with the help of my professor, Dr. Amani Othman, I discovered my talent during my university years, which was public speaking. By the grace of Allah, I secured first place in the public speaking category at the Cultural Olympiad of King Khalid University.
With the support and collaboration of the Deanship of Student Affairs, I participated in various theaters, presenting a performance during the university's founding celebration.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude for their constant support, inspiration, and encouragement. Their unwavering support increased my self-confidence at every moment.
I aspire to contribute to and elevate my beloved university, King Khalid University.
