"Dar Celebration" Organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs on the Occasion of the 92nd Saudi National Day
His Excellency, Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, the President of King Khalid University, affirmed that on the occasion of the 92nd Saudi National Day, the university is thriving at its best, thanks to the support of the wise leadership, which has contributed to achieving numerous accomplishments in academic, administrative, and technological fields. Moreover, it led to the development of the university's strategic plan for 2030, which is supported and carried out by the sons and daughters of the nation. Additionally, there is strategic alignment between the university's plan and the developmental plans for the Aseer region, which will have a positive impact on the university's outcomes and contribute to the progress and development of Aseer as a global tourist destination.
These statements were made during the university's celebration of the 92nd National Day, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in Al-Qara'a, in the presence of several vice presidents, university staff, and male and female students, under the theme "Dar Celebration."
Dr. Ali Al-Qahtani, the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, further explained that what the university enjoys on the occasion of the National Day embodies the support and interest in education and learning by the guardians of the nation. He pointed out that this attention enabled the university to play a leading role in human and regional development. He also highlighted that the entire university community, including its staff and students, celebrate this occasion from September 25th to 29th, with loyalty and a sense of belonging, appreciating the blessings of the homeland.
The celebration included various sections, such as a procession, a national operetta, and a poetic performance by university students. Additionally, the event honored the winners of the university's competition on the occasion of the National Day, which covered areas such as classical and folk poetry, visual arts, design, video, and photography.
It is worth mentioning that the university organized numerous programs and celebratory events across all its campuses during the National Day week.
