University, Represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, Holds First Annual Exhibition for Preparing Students for the Job Market

Under the patronage of Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Asir region and President of the Development Authority, King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the first annual exhibition for preparing students for the job market, titled "KKU EXPO 2023." The event took place over three days at the Al-Faraa Campus.

The aim of the exhibition was to prepare male and female students of the university by familiarizing them with essential and professional skills required in the job market and providing them with future opportunities that contribute to achieving the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 in human capital development.

The exhibition saw the participation of 55 entities, including governmental and private institutions, sharing their experiences and expertise in work environments. It featured 12 dialogue sessions centered around the job market, its future requirements, necessary skills, and successful experiences. Additionally, 36 training workshops were conducted by prominent figures from the job market and representatives of participating entities and companies. Furthermore, 40 advisory sessions covered various topics related to the job market and creating opportunities within it.

During the event, a number of agreements were signed between the university and external institutions and companies to serve the male and female students of the university.

More than 450 staff members, male and female, along with students of the university, provided comprehensive services to visitors and participants.
