About Department
The Center for Persons with Disabilities is a unit under the Deanship of Student Affairs. It provides care and rehabilitation services for students with disabilities to integrate them academically and psychologically into the university community. The center also offers support programs that facilitate academic tasks, as well as diverse cultural, sports, and social activities.
Key Services
- Providing academic care and support for students with disabilities by offering assistive educational tools according to the type of disability, such as Braille materials, specialized computers, printers, special software, magnifying lenses, etc.
- Adapting the curriculum and examinations to suit the type of disability and offering psychological and social support to students with disabilities, and assisting them in obtaining financial rights and aid from the Ministry of Human Resources
- Communicating with university departments and divisions to provide all necessary facilities for disabled students, including electronic services
- Preparing facilities and safety systems within the university campus
- Providing transportation and movement services
- Providing qualified, licensed interpreters for students with hearing disabilities
- Offering therapeutic health services for disorders associated with disabilities
- Ensuring comprehensive accessibility for all
