Central Thinking and Creativity Club at King Khalid University Organizes Online Session “Engineering Innovative Solutions”
The Central Thinking and Creativity Club, in cooperation with King Khalid University represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an online discussion session via TEAMS on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, titled “Engineering Innovative Solutions,” aiming to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship and to reinforce the concept of turning challenges into opportunities and projects that contribute to achieving the national vision. The session, led by Dr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Fifi, engaged over 50 students who actively participated through questions and discussions in an interactive environment that explored the difference between creativity and innovation, the importance of design thinking as a methodology for understanding problems before moving to solutions, and elements of model building and integrated teamwork. The session also highlighted inspiring examples from global companies, including Elon Musk’s approach to talent selection, Jeff Bezos’s customer-obsession culture at Amazon, and Jack Ma’s perseverance as founder of Alibaba, concluding with rich discussions emphasizing the importance of nurturing a generation that innovates solutions rather than waits for them, recognizing the role of national minds in development and progress.
