Central Volunteer Work Club at King Khalid University Organizes “Awareness and Life Journey” Program under Ajawid 4 Initiative
The Central Volunteer Work Club, affiliated with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities at King Khalid University and under the Ajawid 4 initiative, conducted the “Awareness and Life Journey” program on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, at 10:00 PM. The program aimed to raise community awareness among students about cancer, highlight prevention methods, the role of a healthy lifestyle in improving recovery chances and quality of life, and emphasize the importance of early detection through necessary screenings. The program featured a presentation by Dr. Ahmed Al-Omari, Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratories at King Khalid University and a specialist in oncology, providing comprehensive information on protection and awareness regarding cancer cases and types, promoting a culture of health awareness, breaking fear barriers, and fostering a more compassionate and united community. The event saw participation from over 70 students.
