Central Media Club Hosts the “Newsroom” Experience
The Central Media Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs, King Khalid University, organized the “Newsroom” experience on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Code Lab in Quraiger. The event aimed to provide students with hands-on training that simulates real newsroom environments, enhancing their skills in news production and presentation. Beginning at 11 a.m. with 35 participants, the program featured focused stages including an introduction to the workflow and timed collaborative tasks designed to mirror newsroom pressure. Participants then delivered news bulletins before a judging panel that evaluated their performance based on professional standards. The event concluded with honoring outstanding students in recognition of their efforts and demonstrated proficiency.
