The Dental College Club (female section), in partnership with the male section and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized an event titled "Educational Forum for Dental Students" on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the small hall of the conference and seminar building near the Dental College in Al-Far'a.

The event saw a large turnout, with approximately 300 students in attendance, including the Dean of the College, college officials, faculty members, and visitors from outside the college.

This forum aimed to provide an educational and informative experience for first-year dental students, introducing them to various specialties and academic requirements. It also provided an overview of each specialty's fundamentals through practical demonstrations. Additionally, the event offered guidance on time management during studies, the importance of mental and emotional well-being, tips for effective studying, and maintaining a healthy diet.

The event featured a variety of stations offering practical experiences and demonstrations on how to handle medical tools and patients. The stations included:

- Periodontics, Community Dentistry, Diagnosis, and Oral Pathology Station: Introduced students to the tools used in patient treatment and how to diagnose oral diseases.

- Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics Station: Demonstrated tools for filling cavities and methods for root canal treatment.

- Prosthodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Station: Presented types of dental prostheses and surgical procedures for the face and jaws.

- Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Station: Showcased common dental issues in children and the treatment options for orthodontic problems.

- Awareness Station: Provided advice on effective studying, healthy eating, and proper posture in the clinic.

- Student Counseling Station (Rushd): Offered psychological and physical support to students.

- Calligraphy Station: Personalized bookmarks and souvenir medals were handed out with names written in traditional Arabic calligraphy.

The event also featured competitions and prizes, along with an interactive board where students could share their opinions and impressions of the forum. At the end of the event, outstanding students from the student club were honored.

The forum was highly praised by attendees, who expressed their gratitude to everyone involved in making this important educational event a success.
