Sultan Asiri: My Passion for Photography Made Me Stand Out in Student Activities
I received the Medal of Excellence in Student Activities and the Excellence Shield in Student Activities. I also achieved first place at the national level in Saudi Arabia for Best Stage Lighting. In addition, I have delivered several courses in photography.
Although I am currently in my eighth academic level, my passion for photography has never affected my academic performance.
My distinction in this field has given me the opportunity to become a photographer for Afaq, the University newspaper, as well as to photograph the University’s internal and external events. I also receive offers to provide photography coverage for exhibitions, events, and various occasions.
My advice to anyone aspiring to become a professional photographer is to genuinely love what they do, develop their photography skills through self-learning programs, and, most importantly, practice continuously. Consistent practice is essential for developing skills and achieving excellence in photography.
