University, Represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, Concludes Student Activities and Honors Winners

Under the patronage of His Excellency, Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, the President of King Khalid University, the Deanship of Student Affairs organized the closing ceremony for the student activities of the academic year 1444H. The ceremony was attended by several university staff and students.

During the ceremony, Dr. Ali bin Mesfer Al-Qahtani, the Dean of Student Affairs, emphasized the deanship's commitment to developing the skills and abilities of the university's students, discovering their talents, and supporting values, principles, and creative ideas that align with the university's ambitious strategy for 2030.

He revealed that during this academic year, 32,000 male and female students participated in various sports, cultural, theatrical, social, and scouting events organized by the deanship. He also highlighted that the deanship successfully held the first annual preparation exhibition for the job market, 'KKU EXPO 2023,' over the course of three days. The exhibition witnessed significant student participation, offered promising opportunities, aimed at skill development, and harnessed innovations with the involvement of more than 55 entities. It attracted over 8,000 male and female visitors and more than 3,000 beneficiaries of the training workshops. Additionally, it saw the attendance of over 800 beneficiaries in the counseling and dialogue sessions. The deanship also organized several international trips for its male and female students to participate in various sports and scientific events.

The ceremony witnessed the crowning of the student activity clubs and honored several successful partners who contributed to the success of student activities, including organizations, students, and university staff. Moreover, outstanding club leaders and presidents were also recognized and awarded during the event.
