The Applied Medical Sciences Club in Abha – Female Students Section, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, held an awareness event titled “Purple Awareness” on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, focusing on epilepsy. The event aimed to promote health awareness and understanding of the disorder and included educational booths introducing epilepsy, its causes, and support methods, in addition to a Speech and Hearing Disorders booth highlighting their role in assessing and diagnosing communication, language, and hearing challenges among individuals affected by epilepsy, emphasizing an integrated healthcare and rehabilitative approach.
