Central Sustainability Club Hosts “Asir Is Our Destination” Event to Promote Sustainable Tourism and National Identity
The Central Sustainability Club, in partnership with the Central Creativity and Innovation Club and in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the “Asir Is Our Destination” event on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the College of Computing Theater – Quraiger. The event aimed to introduce the cultural and tourism features of the Asir region and highlight the role of sustainable tourism in promoting national identity and achieving Saudi Vision 2030, with a focus on resource sustainability and preserving cultural heritage. The event witnessed the distinguished attendance of 75 participants, including female students and faculty members, contributing to raising awareness among students about sustainable tourism and strengthening their connection to the region’s heritage and tourist assets.
