Conclusion of the 2024 Chess Championship for Saudi University Female Students at King Khalid University

The 2024 Chess Championship for Saudi Universities (Female Students) concluded at King Khalid University from October 23 to 25, with the participation of over 100 female students representing 30 universities. The event was organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation under the Ministry of Education  
The winners were honored during the closing ceremony, which was attended by Dr. Nouf bint Mohammed Al-Hammad, Advisor to the Saudi Universities Sports Federation and Championship Director; Prof. Kholoud Saad Abu Melha, Advisor to the President of King Khalid University for Female Student Campus Affairs; and Dr. Arej Aidh Al-Buher, Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Female Students.  
The first place, along with the gold medal, golden trophy, and a cash prize of SAR 4,000, was awarded to Meshael Al-Tamimi from Princess Nourah University. The second place went to Shurooq Ali Al-Rasheedi from the University of Hail, who received the silver medal, silver trophy, and a cash prize of SAR 3,000. The third place, with the bronze medal, bronze trophy, and a cash prize of SAR 2,000, was awarded to Tala Abdulhadi Al-Wasabi from Taibah University.  
Dr. Nouf Al-Hammad praised the exceptional organization and the strong competitive spirit displayed during the championship. She expressed her gratitude to King Khalid University and the Deanship of Student Affairs for their outstanding efforts in professionally managing the event, which greatly contributed to its success.
